  • An idea to cut a glass bottle into two halves using string and acetone(can use nail polish remover as well).
Glass bottles can be recycled into home decor items, flower pots, vessels, candle holders and many such things.
    Links to glass cutter:
    Wine bottle cutter: amzn.to/2R5dyhN
    Round cutter: amzn.to/3aDEnkc
    Bottle cutter: amzn.to/2Pw8KBW
    Glass cutter blade: amzn.to/3tVBanz
    Glass cutter: amzn.to/3dWcN3y
Bottle can be easily cut in 10 minutes.
Make sure to soak the thread properly. When thread is set to fire keep distance from the bottle...because flames can be high.
Do not worry as its not a risky process but precautions need to be taken....make sure you perform this near the sink and you are having a clean area.Gloves are must

Brilliant job by a lady 👏🏽 and thanks for the nail polish remover idea as an alternative for acetone.
What kind of thread was that?
    Is it the knitting thread?

No cos acetone doesn’t react that quickly, even nail polish doesn’t come off so fast

With bottle cutting I think it's best to not have any breaks or edits in the video. No pause or cut a way.

@@mustabkhan2419 : Even with a glass cutter I've been having problems. With two fruit jars and a wine bottle I totally F'd them up. So I'm going to have to try something else. I just hope this works.

A glass cutter costs a couple of pounds, why bother with all this hassle, for a worse result?

    • @mamsy1169
      @mamsy1169 2 года назад +1

Because you still need to heat it up and cool it down. Takes longer. Heat then cool heat then cool heat then cool, then it finally will cut.
Edit. After experimenting with another method (boiling water) I have come to find that the easiest and safest way is using a cutter to score a line then a heat gun and cold water. No worries with flammable material and no dealing with as much water. Still gets the job done pretty fast and get a pretty clean cut

procedure is as such to heat a particular portion of the bottle....and for this we need a combustible material... acetone helps in controlled combustion...there is another process where u heat the bottle over a candle..but it's tiring

I think she used regular cotton string, the kind you use in the kitchen to tie a turkeys legs together before cooking, I think. Good luck, because I've tried several ways and it doesn't seem to be working the way I want it, unless I'm not giving it enough time.
