Salamat Bong! 🙏🔥
Amazing shots again Kebs! 3:20 is definitely my favorite pic here. I might go do some street photography around Makati and do some "fishing" too, haha! I would love to hear your thoughts about viewfinder vs using the screen.
Thanks Aran! I "fish" more recently because there's not much people in the area, specially on weekends. I almost always use the screen because 1) the first ever camera that I used (X-A10) didn't have optical viewfinder and 2) it's easier to get closer/lower with the screen. The only time I use the viewfinder is 1) when it is too bright outside or 2) when I'm trying to look cool for a photo 🤣
@@KebsCayabyab Very Nice! I also started shooting on an X-A7 with no view finder. I already have the Fuji X-S10 on pre-order and I am just waiting for it! Thanks for this video! it was very informative!
@@aransamson 😮 I heard it is good! Excited for you bro. Thanks for watching!
"When it comes to subjects, most of the time you have to be intentional. Other times you just take what the streets give you."
Wise words, Kebs.
Thanks Victorio! We always make space for a surprise :D
Just what I was going to comment on. Wise words indeed!]
Man you’re so underrated. Love all of your art, please don’t ever give up on it
Thank you so much! That's so encouraging!
i love the composition and colors. I used to shoot there before pero palagi kami nasisita ng mga pulis/enforcer :(
Thank you! 🙏 Aw :/ not sure pero baka mas agaw pansin kapag groups?
Nice sir
Thanks bro 🙏
sama ako minsan sa walking trip mo boss habang nasaken dslr ng kapatid ko. hahaha.
Sige, as soon as mas safe na 😁

Nice vid 👍🏻
Great Video, keep posting more!
Sir Kebs, just help on how to make sure to take sharp shots on street photography always
Shoot in higher aperture and make sure your shutter speed doesn't fall under 125.
Second! Did you use the 50mm here?
Yes, 50mm f2!
@@KebsCayabyab Love the composition, light play, and framing bro. Keep it up. Stay safe!🤙
Great job Kebs! Keep it up 👍
Thank you so much Liam! 🙏
I really enjoy the commentary as overlay. Better than you stopping and talking to the camera in my opinion, as this would take out the flow from the video. Keep doing what you do.
Really appreciate it! Thanks for the feedback! 🙏
Nice! You got some awesome shots!
Thanks a lot Sue!
Solid sir!
Salamat brother!
Only the second video of your channel I'm watching but have already subscribed to it, so down-to-earth your videos are (not to mention the great pix)!
Congrats from another fellow "streeter" from southern Brazil!
Yey! Thanks Scott! I really appreciate it!
Thank you Kebs, for sharing your insights as you shoot. Truly help to understand what goes in the mind of an artist and how you compost the shots. I love your photos and teaching format. You have as a new subscriber. Oh, i also liked your website. Keep up the great work. GOD bless.
Thanks a lot Allan! Happy that you are find this short videos useful! God bless you too!
What lens did you use? Do you recommend 16-55mm lens? I own 35mm and planning to buy 23mm.
50mm. 16-55 is amazing but I only tried it on the store and would not be the first choice if I'm mainly taking street photos. 23mm is always the safest (arguably the best) choice for streets :)
Subrang galing😍😍
Maraming salamat! 🙏
Nice colors. Do u have used some JPEG recipe for this shots?
Thanks Daniele! These are edited RAW files. I used Fujicolor Superia 800 though while shooting, check it out: ruclips.net/video/1OwCd2My9LE/видео.html
A lot of triangles I see on that Turon vendor. Holes, umbrella, and the yellow signage poking out of the blue hoarding.
Yes, that area is a good spot for colors and shapes. I miss your photo analysis bro!
yoo im glad i found your channel
Yey! Thanks Rex!
Learned a lot!! Thank you very much Sir Kebs🤗📸👏👏
Question ko po Sir.. do you often use burst shots sir?
Thanks Josh! No, not so much. But I put the dial to "CL" (or slow burst) just incase I need to burst.
@@KebsCayabyab noted po Sir. Thanks sa response. Appreciate it🙏😊 #respect 🙌
Really enjoyed your thought process. You have an eye for capturing photographic images. Thank you for sharing.
Thanks Dennis! 🙏
this is so good kebs. you're very inspiring.
btw may I know your camera settings while shooting street ? is it aperture priority or ?
Mostly aperture priority. Sometimes, I set the ISO manually so only the shutter speed is in auto. I also zone focus most of the time these days. I think I mentioned some of the settings here: ruclips.net/video/JWzLCKo12xM/видео.html
@@KebsCayabyab thanks for the tips buddy. much appreciated! I hope you have a great day
sir any sort of you being confronted by people, how do you handle it? the thought of it hinders me from doing street photo ops
Rarely, Ed. Maybe 2 or 3 times? And all of them are security guards. I say I'm practicing and what I'm doing is for personal use and not a paid shoot. I encourage you to go out and take photos from afar and focus on forms rather than faces/expressions, then get closer as you get more comfortable.
@@KebsCayabyab Thank your sir, hope I can join you sometime during your photo ops :) I'm still waiting for the 35mm f2 that I've ordered (hope it could bring enough focal distance to get rid of confrontations). More power to you!
@@kidbukid_ Yeah! I'm sure we'll see each other (once it's safe) :D
Someday, I'll be able to buy a proper fuji camera and explore photography 🙏
Soon! Start with phone while waiting! :)
@@KebsCayabyab thanks! I am practicing composition, would love to watch a vid of yours about it. 👍

@@KebsCayabyab thanks man!
3:39 that tree is gonna stay there for awhile and you took the chance for a dope as thumbnail.
looking forward for more!
Thank you! That's one of my favorite shot from this set! Picking a thumbnail is always tricky, I'm glad you liked this one too!
@@KebsCayabyab yeah man so true! looking forward for the beards too gahaha :D
Awesome video Kebs! Really nice POV voiceover that I believe will give a lot of street photographers good insight into how you approach/view your scene
Thank you so much Jay! I enjoyed watching yours and the others' PoV, inspired me to up my game :)
sobrang useful bro! must watch for both new and experienced photographers
Thanks you so much Dom! Glad you find it useful!
hi sir, anu pong gamit nyong wrist strap,? btw i learn a lot with your channel.😊📷📸
Hi Joy! Thanks for the feedback! I'm happy that you're find value from the channel! I use a "paracord wrist strap." :)
love the context!! solid video!!! 💯💯
Salamat Bro! 🙏🙏🙏
Absolutely love it and very happy to see another fellow Fujifilm photographer doing these videos! I think more people should do this, particularly in "less-obvious" places around the world. Everyone has seen London or New York by now, and I find this very refreshing. You got a new sub ;)
Thanks Fabien! Im happy you liked it! Hoping to go to more "less-obvious" areas as soon as the pandemic is done!
I've always viewed street photography as daunting mainly because 1. i'm OC when it comes to taking photos, 2. i avoid people as much as possible when I'm out with my camera.
This is very encouraging. Now I wanna go try and do some street photography around Cebu City. And I have a 50mmF2 coming so I'm very excited!
Thank you, Kebs! You got yourself a new sub. 😁
Thanks Kat! I'm excited to see what you come up with on the streets! I can imagine being OC and not have all elements under control :D
50mmf2 is amazing, it's the only reason why I can't shift to X100 lineup. Excited for you!
Thanks sensei. You're one of the photographer youtubers that I connect well with because we both have the xt2, and I like you're style. P.s go Philippines!
Thank you! Im glad you're enjoying the content! :)
Loved this! Great job and thank you for your time and hard work putting it together. You have several keepers from this day. (as usual)
I loved your points and emphasis on layering, fishing etc. etc. You are someone who really respects photography as an art..and not just as a craft and / or thoughtless hobby.
I did miss seeing the camera settings on screen- not that they are always relevant, but because we are used to them and find them curious- but In realize how time-consuming the voice over alone is in producing. (Trust me, you KNOW I know haha)
Peace and congratulations on a new series which I'm sure will grow to be very popular.\
p.s the music was a bit loud at the beginning, but the rest of the video seemed mixed well. Just a fyi, not being a troll at all. :-) Peace. This was super great and especially for being the first of the new series!
Thank you so much for the detailed feedback Tobias, I really appreciate it! I'm experimenting with the format and might again include the settings (and actually have an episode all about settings). The voice over was hard, but still way easier than actually talking in the streets! You are right about the music in the start, I only noticed it when you pointed it out. When I was making the video and doing the voice over, I was congested (which affected my hearing and voice) but didn't want to wait to continue with editing. Thanks for pointing it out!
Missed one at 4.41 minutes.
I think I know what you're referring to, I was totally focused on something else.
