I was beginning to think you were making a seax knife till you put the drop on it. Nice work

Nice work. I have the same anvil and it's great. NC Tool makes quality anvils.

Nice work! I like that your process differs from mine. Id have started out with a piece of like 1x6 spring, forged a preform, then used the cross peen to draw it out and widen it. Well done.

Thanks! I do it that way as well most times when forging, then there are times I like to try different ways just to try different techniques out and see what the end result is. I appreciate you watching!

@@Mysticmountainforge I try different ways too. Never know when you'll stumble upon am easier or more efficient way of getting it done

I'm going to have to watch this video again... every time I think I've figured out which side the blade is... I'm wrong🤔
Its crazy how difficult this has been for me in my shop.

I was hoping to have a part 2 video out on this and have it finished up but my grinder motor burned up, the new one will be here soon and I will jump back on it. Thanks for watching, I appreciate it!

Very unpleasant to watch with headphones/earbuds 🎧
    Couldn’t finish the video.
Maybe you could put a magnet 🧲
on your anvil or try editing out the high pitched ringing sound?

Thanks for the heads up, I have a chain on it but that obviously isn't helping, I will put a magnet on it for sure, I appreciate you watching and letting me know.
