    Julie's flowers came out with double lines as well. Brother shared a video to this question but it does not address drawing. I have also tried the photo tracing method like Julie shows in a different video on scanning photos. The same thing happen with all the lines.

    How well does it read images that are stamped on dark card stock? If I stamp a leaf on a dark green color, will the machine be able to identify it?

    in every video, when you come fo the point where you indicate the command screens for editing ...you do it so fast it is hard to follow. this is the place to slow down, please.

    aren't there legalities with licencing and needing the stamp designers permission?

    • @parisblock8700
      @parisblock8700 5 лет назад

      Do u really think they sell you the stamp but then you are not allowed to use it. It says you can use it for personal use. She isn't using the "art/stamp" to then sell it to someone else. Good lord the people that create individual ink colors, house paint etc. would be in big trouble. (Trademark Paralegal)

    I am a stamp designer and am fully willing for people to buy stamps to create work and sometimes sell it. To scan and re- size is NOT ok. copyright is complicated but stamps and dies should not be re sized without permission. not good practice. you buy the right to use them as they are.

    Julie is using copyrighted stamps. If you have made the stamp yourself its ok. If its a trade name then you need the owners permission. Most stamps are ok to direct cut. i.e. use the scanncut as a pair of scissors. If you scan to cut data then you are altering the original image without the owners permission and therefore you like Julie in the video are in breach of copyright and could be prosecuted by the owner, so beware and ask the owner first.

      Stamp designers can't "prosecute" anyone.

    • @kevintoulson9281

      It's still an infringement of copyright, someone designed the stamps for sale in the 1st place, and makes money from it. You are denying them it by copying someone else's design. Ask their permission first.

      @@kevintoulson9281 u cannot prosecute for use of a product meant to create for your own use...are you a copyright/trademark attorney? This is such a silly statement. Anyone can use the stamp to create. It says right on the packaging as long as you are using it for personal use.

    • @motor_stu

      And as long as you don't sell for personal gain, that's what a copyrighted product means. You can't just go about using someone elses products for YOUR gain. Its not a silly statement its inscribed in law. She is using someones product to create another for herself, by altering it, its NOT her design to make something else from........

      @@motor_stu explain how she financially gainning for this? She is NOT selling anything. She is just showing us how to use it.
