Gotta love those days when the wind and the seas come together to create a great sail! We had a great sail this past Saturday out on the Pacific. Wild was at 15 knots and the seas were four feet. No chop, just a gentle roll and six knots of speed.

Great videos. We have stayed on the island of Eleuthera nemorous times...right at the villa where you anchored your boat. I can't get enough of the island. The glass window bridge is something to see when the waves are crashing over it. We try and surf the kayaks on the surge...if you get it right...you can ride the wave for 150 yards plus. The waves are so big from the Atlantic side..where you were on the cliffs...you could of easily been swept into the sea from that high up. If you get a chance to snorkel in front of the bridge...calm day...you will see wreckage from the vehicles that did not make it across the bridge during the rage. The blow holes are great when the ocean is rough, just don't put your head over it..especially if you dropped something down it. You wouldn't believe how many times we watched people do this and were surprised at end result. Enjoy the people of Eleuthera...they are some of nicest people you will ever meet.

Beautiful scenery! The drone shots really showed the stark difference between the Atlantic side and the Caribbean side. The natural jacuzzi looked amazing. Sea urchins are a delicacy. You guys have a lot to be thankful for as far as that awesome lifestyle. Stay safe and thanks for sharing your travel adventures!

When photographing a harbor scene in Nova Scotia on a really foggy morning, I was complaining to a fellow photographer, a stranger, about the weather. Without lifting his eye from the tripod mounted camera he said, just think of the people that never get to see it like this. I have pondered that my whole life and have rarely been disappointed . I have loved your adventures from your first video not only for the quality but for your honest enthusiasm

You two are so good at capturing beautiful sunsets and I always enjoy the high perspective map-like views from your drone. I couldn't help but notice how much more proficient and at ease sailors you are now, when compared to your first on-your-own sailing days where each decision was a stressful "oh I hope this is the right move for these conditions". What a difference a couple months experience makes! I wish I could learn as quickly as you two do.....thank you for sharing what you've learned along the way! Oh....and little Nik, the daredevil who walks the edge of high jagged cliffs that can trip or give-way.....I doubt I was the only one in dread, turning blue holding my breath.....you little turkey ;).

I stumbled on your channel today because of your RV videos and stayed because of your enthusiasm and general attitude towards travel and adventure. Also because when I found out you guys bought a catamaran and were new to sailing, I was shocked! I love sailing and going on road trips but I've never owned a boat or an RV so being able to watch you guys walk through stuff has been really awesome.
Can't wait to see where you guys go next. Stay safe out there in the open ocean! :D

I have no idea about sailing other than what I have learned from you. What I do know and see is how far you have come and how at ease you are now on sailing and just enjoying yourselves. Can't wait until the next video. Maybe I could talk you into doing more than one a week. Maybe an extra one on upkeep, chores, provisioning, etc. To me these kind of videos don't get boring. There is always something new even if it is just a new market... but it has different stuff.

I thought where I live in Coronado, California was way too expensive and it is, but Eleuthera and Nassau take top honors. I watched another sailing video where the couple in their 42 foot mono were sailing around the outer parts of the Bahamas and there were very few people around and all in swimming pool colored water (quite shallow however). Pretty amazing. I'd say, stick to eating on the boat, shop at Costco, catch fish (stop the boat, harness in, get proper lures and gear) and avoid ripoff stores that have any likeliness to Whole Foods.

During the years that I did a lot of scuba diving, one of my favorite things to do in late afternoon was to explore shoreline tide pools. It was as fun as drift diving the reef. There was something new under each rock in the pool. Some pools were like their own reef with coral, tube worms, flaming clams, starfish, gobies, blennys, etc. It's a great place for non-divers (and divers) to explore.
