Fun fact: The mini nuke in Cabot House only takes a day or 2 to respawn and you can get in with a speech check.
So does the one next to the sentry bot north of Sanctuary. I believe it respawns every three, or so days. The one in Olivia Station, next to it, seems to take around a week.
Its easier if you just farm muties (?
I'm pretty sure KLE0's does as well, seeing as I've stolen it from her multiple times in the same playthrough.

Oh yeah, just find a chair and a few in-game weeks are like 15 minutes
once you do some of the cabot quests you can grab anything so grab the mini nuke, go outside, teleport somewhere, teleport back, grab the mini nuke, and repeat

Not really no, the 8 mini-mini nukes have a great tendency to hit each other mid fall and kill you easily.
If, you survive though, it absolutely obliterates anything you were and weren't aiming for.

Yeah, i had the big boy with the mirv, and i kept hitting liberty prime and died 15 times....
There's a mini nuke among other loot at Charles View Amphitheater which seems to respawn very quickly (walking to and from hangman's alley usually does it for me). It continues to respawn even if you kill the Pillars of the Community so it can be a fast way to farm mini nukes for free.

Another option would be the cabot house since it has a mininuke that respawns everytime you fast travel away and back

You can get a lot of mini nukes through the brotherhood, there are 3 or 4 around the Prydwen and a few you can find during the first mission in fort strong

Instead of getting the mini nukes found around the map the scrounger perk lets you find more ammo in containers so you can find power cores because they are ammo for the Gatling laser

You know if you complete the Jack Cabot quest line the mini nuke in the house will respawn everytime you leave. Just exit the house fast travel away and come back and you can get one mini nuke everytime. It's time consuming but it works.
