We do some wild camping and some campsite park ups

Great video! I grew up in North Devon, my family still lives there, so I go back home a lot. I worked at Saunton Sands hotel, the beach car park used to be free, so did Clovelly, and I used to work in Woolacombe's Narrocott Grand hotel back in the day... This video made me feel so homesick, as I have not been back much this last 18 months... I can't believe how lucky I was growing up here in the 60's and 70's! Well done on a great episode! Hocking's ice cream is the best! And Croyde used to host the surfing championships back in the day too!

When everyone finishes work the locals go to the beach. Next time park up in Welcombe, duck pool, sandy mouth bay and Crackington Haven. Carry on past Clovelly some are just past Hartland then carry on to Bude and the North Cornwall coast. Boscastle and Tintagel are beautiful for wild swimming as is all the prior ones recommended.

Only way to avoid the crowds on Staunton sands is to get up early & get down ther ,or go to where all the locals go Crow Point which is the other end of that beach ,no amenities ,but no crowds too , have FUN in North Devon ,lot,s to do & plenty to see ,I know I live in BRAUNTON . ENJOY 😊☮️❤️👨🏻🌾👍😁🐑✊️🤣🌞⛺️⛺️🍾

You read my mind, was just thinking you could visit Clovelly. There was a donkey sanctuary when I’ve been. In the old days, donkeys were used to pull sleds with supplies along the very steep narrow lanes.

Great video Liam and Janine and the food was awesome with the exception of the place that didn't have vegan options for sandwiches and there's no excuse for it not in 2021. Just watching all you Cornwall/Devon vids as am heading that way for the summer in about ten days time 😱😃 you could have used the gas bbq to boil some water maybe. May have taken a while but think it could have worked 😂😂 Was this park up on the main beach front road..

To be fair, the first place looks pretty nice, not as much footfall as you think so it's priced correctly.
The burger ten minutes in is crazy big. So nice of the cafe to gift it.
What did you pay for with the pink bands ? Was that just to look around the village? Sorry am confused nice sunset , still a bit busy for me 😂 xx

If its a vegan pasty then pastry is vegan as well. There was a shop half way up Clovelly that sold them. I am gluten intolerant. Sick of being offered vegan as if it would be ok. Gluten free is a whole different ballgame.
Haha, we get offered gluten-free sometimes when we say were vegan. Its very strange!
A pickup truck like that and the guy has put on alloys with low profile summer tyres. No wonder it sat there spinning. People are stupid.

The vegan push is getting toooooo much most people don’t care! so stop spoiling a great video with the vegan pitch it’s getting overboard to the point of annoying where it will turn people off.
we used to love going to woolacombe and saunton sands late 90's. because of the old rip off Britain, crazy priced crap b&b's and greedy holiday home landlord lets down there, we'd hire a transit van and just throw a double mattress in the bk. we'd actually get a far better more peaceful sleep in it than most of those crappy noisy b&b's ,.. plus no mad rush to check out early.
