I would honestly use energetic on healers. High survivability so they can revive their other teammates. An option for additional damage to accommodate for cleric’s lack of offensive Movepool. And the addition of a proper mp restoring ability, even if it is once a battle, is a pretty reliable strategy. I put kind on my thief because he constantly steals bananas and candies. So if someone runs low, the thief could simply supply healing endlessly. I agree with mages having the best time with laid back. Despite them having the drawback of their whole team hating them, they have the highest potential damage output when worked up, can conserve mp for weaker targets, and begrugingly have good survivability by hiding and stealing.
I asked my friend what they wanted their personality to be and they said "laid-back" oh my goodness how I regret making them a laid back chef. The amount of times they've killed off my team for getting lazy and cooking for them but only restoring half of the HP the move provides is madness 💀
@@mattheworozco5929Energetic on healing-type jobs is very clever for longer survivability as well as MP emergency-recovery. Also gotta add, that I love the two cautious quirks, warm up and prepped and ready. Robin from fire emblem is usually my cautious mage, and I see warm up often. But sometimes I wish I could see prepped and ready more often! He often doesn't need to use it in my game, though cause he's usually stocked up
Prepped and Ready surprisingly doesn’t have a 100% chance of activation, unlike Cadge and Donate quirks which are guaranteed to activate, if Charity and Share assists don’t activate.
That explains why it doesn't activate much for me! Even if he is out of items. Just wish I could see it more often. Besides those two, is finisher the only other cautious quirk?
@@queensydrine644 Finisher is the other cautious quirk you didn’t mention, yes. It has a 50% chance of activation, but the requirements for activation is complicated.
You can’t defeat the Darker Lord, or any enemy with the Patience quirk. It reduces damage taken, not increase damage dealt. Also, Energetic doesn’t have the Patience quirk, the Stubborn personality does. Unless you’re referring to actual patience. Then yes, being careful and taking your time can result in a victory.
@@xdkillfor34akathetroll30 Hang On quirk doesn’t defeat enemies. It gives the Mii a chance to not fall in battle. I’m not sure if this is only restricted to receiving critical damage from physical attacks though, but I would assume yes because it only seems to activate whenever you receive critical damage from physical attacks.
@@AngelicMiitopian i think that they meant patience as in- the real life patience- like, the player being patient (and lucky) enough could beat darker lord by relying on "hang on", even if their miis were underleveled
Last month I added a laidback scientist to my game and almost every turn it activated and alongside that he was practically spamming protection masks (yes I’m aware it’s an automatic out-of-turn move too) as if he would let the entire team down if he didn’t
You kind of got the cautious warm up wrong, instead of skipping the turn, it will be placed to the back, it's speed would be 0 (or lower because it also happens after tank/traveller hub Mii)
My bad on that one. It doesn’t always skip a turn whenever a cautious Mii uses Warm Up. Sometimes, if their speed is high enough, they usually go right after the quirk activation. (It does happen to me at times, but it could be me being confused with the speed stat).
The chances say otherwise, but yeah, it’s quite weird how this quirk is rare to pop out. (Doesn’t feel like a 20% chance lol) This is why cool is probably the best personality in Miitopia.
@@chickengaming4344 I used a Cool Mii as my Hero in my most recent playthrough, and I don't believe I saw Shan't until either the late-game or the post-game.
My ranking: 1: Cool 2: Energetic 3: Cautious 4: Airheaded 5: Stubborn 6: Laid-back 7: Kind Cool is very good due to its avoid and pressure point quirks. Indifference is also good. The only real negative quirk is shant, but even then, i've never personally seen it myself and it doesn't cause resentment, so yeah. Energetic is a very close second for me. The cheer and hang on quirks are great and charge is ok for me. I also have my main hero as this personality so that's great. Cautious is another good personality due to its warm up and prepped and ready quirks. As for finisher, it rarely activates for me but it's ok, I guess. Also, playing as a cautious mii is kinda weird, almost none of the quirks activate. Airheaded is ok. Oops is alright and frollic does distract the enemy so that's good. Sleepyhead rarely activates for me, but it's ok overall. Stubborn is alright. Patience is good as it reduces damage. Again is very good as the mii can use a skill or attack twice. Bluff on the other hand, not good. It can reject support from anyone except travelers, which sucks. Laid-back is kinda not good. Get serious and nah are the best quirks and slack off is ok. Hide and cadge pretty much suck, though and don't think it's really worth it. Kind is not good. It doesn't really help with combat and even tries to spare monsters. Donate and cover are pretty useful early on though, and I sometimes use a kind mii for Greenhorne. Spare sucks, though and even if the mii spares the monster, you don't get any rewards, and if it fails, one mii gains resentment towards that mii. So yeah, that's my thoughts on all the personalities in Miitopia! Yeah, I know it took so long to type all that.
Here’s my ranking: 1. Energetic 2. Cautious 3. Stubborn 4. Airheaded 5. Laidback 6. Kind 7. Cool Here are my opinions on the personalities. Kind is a decent personality. It has pros and cons, which actually can be used in certain jobs. Have weak Miis? There’s the Cover quirk. Use too much resources? There’s the Donate quirk. However, the Cover quirk works well with high defense, so it’s not wise to combine this with Mage, Flower, Pop Star, Cleric, Princess, and Scientist. So it’s best to not have low HP. I also consider this personality to be situational. Energetic is probably the most balanced personality out there. Cheer On is great for emergencies, Charge increases regular attack damage at the cost of losing 2 HP, and Hang On is also great for emergencies. There’s no cons that I see with it. This personality is more suited for the player-controlled Mii, since all quirks can activate. Laidback is probably one of the most “high risk, high reward” type of personalities. Cadge and Hide can active quite often. However, Get Serious is super powerful, and has a high chance as well. Slack Off is decent for sustaining MP, and Nah is a good addition. 3 powerful quirks needed to be balanced with 2 awful quirks, so the Laidback personality isn’t broken. Cool is probably the most overpowered personality. Avoid, Pressure Point, and Indifference quirks activate way too often. It’s pretty much the laziest personality. The developers tried to balance it out with the Shan’t quirk, but it rarely actives and that Sacrifice assist actives way more often than the Shan’t quirk. I hate and love how absurd it is. Airheaded personality is also balanced. Oops is a decent quirk, but it can be quite annoying if the player-controlled Mii is Airheaded. Frolic is an interesting but useful quirk. It can distract an enemy at the cost of a turn, but they can still assist during that state, so it’s a great trade-off. Sleepyhead is quite useful when you lack HP Bananas and healers. It’s a great quirk for emergencies. This personality is more suited for AI-controlled Miis. Stubborn is also a “high risk, high reward” type of personality. Patience and Again are great quirks, but Bluff can activate quite often. Not as risky as Laidback. Cautious is also a balanced personality, but only for AI-controlled Miis, since Warm Up and Prepped and Ready quirks can only activate for the AI. Warm Up is basically a better version than Get Serious, since all forms of skills and the regular attack are improved. Finisher is the most complex quirk, since there needs to be 2 requirements in order to activate. Either way, it’s a good quirk to have. Overall, Cautious and Airheaded personalities are more suited for the AI while the Energetic personality is more suited for the player-controlled Mii. The rest can work regardless.
I had a stubborn chef while going through Neksdor, and since they were my only support AND only stubborn Mii, i had no idea Bluff was a thing until i checked the wiki one day. Honestly: stubborn goes surprisingly well with chef, as they won't refuse to heal themselves, and can do massive damage with Flambée since it counts not as a skill, but as a powered up regular attack.
I've been using the cool quirk on my player controlled mii, and it took me a GOOD minute to activate the Shan't Quirk. And when you happened, I was so surprised 😂😂
One thing to note about quirks that don't activate for the player-controlled mii, those certain quirks actually will activate if autobattle is enabled!
These kinds of quirks are typically quirks that require an action to be done that would override the players action which is why something that modifies it like get serious, finisher, and spare work but something like a cautious mii stretching before attacking doesn’t
I always loved this game and I remembered complete it a couple of times (but not 100% lol XD), I loved their jobs, clothes, food, monsters, characters and mii personalities. Though some quirks stink or made miis fight with each other, that's how it gets very challenging and funny for me! XD For me personally, I think all of them are great (despite some quirks that get you the nerves) and I got fun with them into each character that were a oc or an character for a franchise.
@@AngelicMiitopian You're welcome! Also I'm happy that they remake this game, thoigh they weren't new jobs, personalities and other stuff but I still happy it was remaked, but the real sad part is that I don't have a switch. :(

@@Lauramatos6315 Oh? I don’t recall whether or not a quarrel was active during the time of when Shan’f first activated, but that seems promising. I would say otherwise. Shan’t quirk shall remain on the Cool personality.

I like how people keep talking about how Cautious quirks rarely happen- when almost all of them ended up happening for me in a single stage/level/battle
A few of my favorite quirks are probably the energetic cheer, and two from laid-back. Get serious, and "nah". I use Shy Guy from Super Mario as my laid-back mage often, and I often see these two quirks from him! The "nah" always makes me laugh
I often use Mario as an energetic warrior or thief. I think he always used charge more than cheer, but I always love watching him use cheer to motivate an ally

Yeah, they don’t receive a status affect when avenge assist activates. Do keep in mind that the information I’ve mentioned only refers to the quirks, not the personalities.
This is the time when Sapphy spares the Hobgoblin Mage's B, but she failed. So, Brandon, started to quarrel with Sapphy for sparing the Hobgoblin Mage's B. and last but not least, the message Says "That was the last straw!" for sparing the enemy.

My tank learned lazer in the 3rd area and didn’t use it until a scripted mission for the face gems you need to unlock the final dungeon and that is still the only time they have used it

@@AngelicMiitopian ik, its just that level 1 miis have the lowest hp, if you use a skill like wild shot to hit them (and the enemy doesn't die) and they use the skill if they have at least 1 hp left, they will flop over and ded
You must be persistent on sustaining yourself! I’m quite impressed! Cadge is guaranteed to occur, unless either Share assist, Charity assist, or Donate quirk activates. Get Serious quirk is nice, but Warm Up quirk is better due to more utilization.
You know, kind can work well with thief as you can steal snacks and then share them with your team with charity, and lastly sure kind's spare ability sucks, but if you just use the MP attacks you should be good most of the time.

Kind is well, kind. Cover becomes basically a shared second healthbar for low level/hp Miis. Energetic hits like a truck, and practically immortal with an alive cleric. Cool is pretty much goated defensewise, able to dodge most attacks and status effects, too! *Laid-Back* (if you know the meme, you know the joke here) Airheaded fun fact: Attack Mistake can actually force a melee on Pop-star, as they never directly attack with their mic normally. Aside from that, pretty mid. Stubborn is Cool and Energetic mixed, Again is where energetic comes into play, Patience is Cool's defense. The healing reject is a pretty good balancing act. Cautious is the only quirk I've seen have a field effect, occasionally trashing the weird bottles they come across. Other than that, with Airheaded on my list.
@@a2u. I find it clever that you make references to other personalities based on said personalities. I don’t normally see it like that, as I focus the effectiveness of the quirks that correspond to their respective personalities. I also like how you used basic common RPG terminology for this.
All personalities ranked worst to best (imo, yes I’m late): 7. Laid-back; if you have a mii with this personality, do urself a favour and change it, stealing bananas and candy, hiding, and holding back (I.e when they use less mp for skills) is a major issue, 2 of the former could lead to quarrels, the ONLY good thing about this personality is the one where they use more mp for skills for bigger damage. 6. Stubborn; stubborn is better imo as they have the traits of attacking twice and blocking attacks however they will not accept healing so make the stubborn mii the healer and ur mostly good. 5. Airheaded; most personalities are pretty good from now on though airheaded miis are the worst of the best, considering that they can “accidentally” hit the wrong enemy for more damage or flat out distract an enemy by… *playing with them…* they would be pretty good, however they sleep mid battle which is a liability imo. 4. Cautious; cautious can prep better attacks by taking one turn which can be good for magic users, they also have a spare HPB or MPC but only if it’s AI and can also finish off weak enemies or low health bosses, nothing to negative except that the main player can’t have access to quirk 2 3. Kind; a tanker mii will be better for this one as their guard quirk suits those types of miis better, as well as donating their healing items or sparing regular monsters, though this does have a chance to fail. 2. Cool; The ONLY downside of this personality is not coving fellow mii alies when the cover is needed else this is a phenomenal personality as it has a chance to crit, can ignore status effects and can avoid almost all (key word) *physical* attacks! 9.5/10, would recommend. 1. Energetic; HOLY SMOKES IS THIS ONE GOOD (imo) the mii with this personality can charge for extra damage in cost for very little health, can help restore party members mp and can hang onto hits with very little hp remaining! 10/10 a staple for any party . . . *IN MY OPINION*

@@AngelicMiitopian they might have been talking about the hang on quirk
@@xdkillfor34akathetroll30 Hang On quirk doesn’t defeat enemies. It gives the Mii a chance to not fall in battle. I’m not sure if this is only restricted to receiving critical damage from physical attacks though, but I would assume yes because it only seems to activate whenever you receive critical damage from physical attacks.
@@AngelicMiitopian i think that they meant patience as in- the real life patience- like, the player being patient (and lucky) enough could beat darker lord by relying on "hang on", even if their miis were underleveled
finaly someone had made a video that actualy have all the of the personality quirks in it
Glad you discovered this video!
My main Mii was a thief, so it turns out Laid-Back suited it perfectly.
2:34 For some reason, this quirk activates often from my Mage.
Hardly any requirement in order for the quirk to activate. That’s why Get Serious is pretty common. Also activates for me often.
"unusually" focused is a lie
Last month I added a laidback scientist to my game and almost every turn it activated and alongside that he was practically spamming protection masks (yes I’m aware it’s an automatic out-of-turn move too) as if he would let the entire team down if he didn’t
@jayjay-the-girl it only activates if an effect is inflicted tho
4:08 Using Sleepyhead while using Frolic!
Yup.
Frolihead
The Frolic Sleepyhead!
Ye
You kind of got the cautious warm up wrong, instead of skipping the turn, it will be placed to the back, it's speed would be 0 (or lower because it also happens after tank/traveller hub Mii)
My bad on that one.
It doesn’t always skip a turn whenever a cautious Mii uses Warm Up. Sometimes, if their speed is high enough, they usually go right after the quirk activation. (It does happen to me at times, but it could be me being confused with the speed stat).
@@AngelicMiitopian I believe the only way that can happen is if the cautious Mii is slow enough that they'll be moving last anyway.
@@AngelicMiitopian it definitely happens, happened a lot with the knight of my team, he would activate warm up and then instant destroy someone
I've been doing Miitopia play throughs since it first came out on the 3ds. I have never once seen the cool Mii use shan't.
The chances say otherwise, but yeah, it’s quite weird how this quirk is rare to pop out. (Doesn’t feel like a 20% chance lol)
This is why cool is probably the best personality in Miitopia.
@@chickengaming4344 I used a Cool Mii as my Hero in my most recent playthrough, and I don't believe I saw Shan't until either the late-game or the post-game.
Good video, I believe I watched the "every skill" video you made. I hope you have a good day, and I hope you get to 1 million subs one day~!
I wish you well!
My ranking:
1: Cool
2: Energetic
3: Cautious
4: Airheaded
5: Stubborn
6: Laid-back
7: Kind
Cool is very good due to its avoid and pressure point quirks.
Here’s my ranking:
1. Energetic
2. Cautious
3. Stubborn
4. Airheaded
5. Laidback
6. Kind
7. Cool
Here are my opinions on the personalities.
@@AngelicMiitopian huh, interesting.
Kind and other 1 shot stuff affect fiends which is good late game
@@AngelicMiitopian Laid back too because it prevents cadge from triggering.
@@memelurd7341 Yeah, but there are better personalities for the player controlled Mii.
Nice video!
Again quirk also works with skills.
I’d say the cool personality’s quirks are the best if you like just going all out on damage thanks to the pressure point, indifference and dodge.
I love how the sound it makes for the personality is almost the same but with different effects and stuff
@@LukeManiac I agree. It gives quite a charm for each personality.
@@AngelicMiitopian lol I didn't expect a fast reply but which one is your favorite? I like energetic
@@LukeManiac Eyyy, I like the Energetic personality as well!
I reply as soon as possible, if RUclips notifies me that is.
I've been using the cool quirk on my player controlled mii, and it took me a GOOD minute to activate the Shan't Quirk. And when you happened, I was so surprised 😂😂
Small correction: Cautious Warm Up does not skip the current turn but moves the miis turn at the end of the turn order
Yeah, I realized that mistake after learning more of the Warm Up quirk.
I love how describing a refusal to change emotion with cool is just… “nah”

I always loved this game and I remembered complete it a couple of times (but not 100% lol XD), I loved their jobs, clothes, food, monsters, characters and mii personalities. Though some quirks stink or made miis fight with each other, that's how it gets very challenging and funny for me! XD
For me personally, I think all of them are great (despite some quirks that get you the nerves) and I got fun with them into each character that were a oc or an character for a franchise.
I’m glad that you like them all equally! (Because I do as well, with a few minor exceptions)
@@AngelicMiitopian You're welcome! Also I'm happy that they remake this game, thoigh they weren't new jobs, personalities and other stuff but I still happy it was remaked, but the real sad part is that I don't have a switch. :(
@@AngelicMiitopian Also I would love if they do double personality. It's like mixing two personlities in a Mii like: Kind/Cautious, Energetic/Stubborn, Airheaded/Laid-back and so much more. Shame it didn't had, but I still happy for the remake and that's all matters.

WHY IS THE DEPRESSED KID USING FINISHER
Cool definitly the go-to for sweaty tryharding but Laid back has to be the funniest for me due all the drama it causes.
I like how people keep talking about how Cautious quirks rarely happen- when almost all of them ended up happening for me in a single stage/level/battle
1:48 “You’re gonna have to try a little harder than THAT.”
A few of my favorite quirks are probably the energetic cheer, and two from laid-back. Get serious, and "nah". I use Shy Guy from Super Mario as my laid-back mage often, and I often see these two quirks from him! The "nah" always makes me laugh
Cheer is quite useful. I’m surprised that Get Serious doesn’t use more MP, when the effects of the skill is improved.
I often use Mario as an energetic warrior or thief. I think he always used charge more than cheer, but I always love watching him use cheer to motivate an ally
@@queensydrine644 The AI Warrior and Thief uses their regular attack more than their skills, which is why Charge quirk activates quite often, despite its chances being low.
That explains why I see it used more often. Plus, it was often funny for me to see Mario just run in there and hurt himself
This is not really a quirk but Laid Back Miis are the only ones that don't get any status effects when avenge is active.

I was surprised to see this quirk. I thought the cool personality only has 3 quirks.
My tank learned lazer in the 3rd area and didn’t use it until a scripted mission for the face gems you need to unlock the final dungeon and that is still the only time they have used it
Funny thing when I first played this game, the double thing for the stubborn personality can actually stack if you somehow have godly luck

1:31 | A mii could die from this if they're level one, with either 2 or 1 hp point(s) left.
They don’t need to be level 1. As long as they have 2 or 1HP left, I’m sure they will fall in battle.

3:16 played the game several times and never had a twerky use that attack.
All personalities ranked worst to best (imo, yes I’m late):
4. Cautious; cautious can prep better attacks by taking one turn which can be good for magic users, they also have a spare HPB or MPC but only if it’s AI and can also finish off weak enemies or low health bosses, nothing to negative except that the main player can’t have access to quirk 2
10/10 a staple for any party
