Airing down makes a big difference. Don't over gas, Rover traction system, center diff with viscous coupling, even weight distribution, solid axles, soft suspension setup. If you have a vehicle without a lot of give in the suspension it will force that tire down into the sand. Take a look at the Baja racers setup with long travel soft coils and beefy shocks.
That's a lot of force you're hitting that ford truck with at 4:40 with a flat strap. A lot of stress on your vehicle also. It'd be better to get some soft shackles, a tree saver and a 1 inch 30ft kinetic rope.. hook a soft shackle to one of his front recovery points tied to one side of the tree saver.. feed the other side of the tree saver through the loop of your kinetic rope, then soft shackle the other end of the tree saver to his 2nd front recovery... It'll give you a more centralized pull, allow your rope to slide some to the side since you're at an angle, and the kinetic stretch of the rope will take all that stress off both vehicles and use that energy to pop his truck right out. You can do the same for cars with no front recovery, hooking to both lower control arms the same way.. keeps your rope in the center to help prevent them running it over... I enjoy the vids, keep posting... I wish I could post more but I usually don't have someone to record.. I'll have to look into a back mount like yours
1 inch doesn't have the flex. Highest I'd go on a sub 5k lb vehicle is 7/8. This avoids snapback. Seen it a bunch with bigger snatch straps and jeeps. I use a flat snatch strap 24k lbs so I can close my hatch. Can't keep people from running the straps over. I just buy new ones when the ends wear out. 45 bucks on Amazon.
I don’t know how many times I yelled, don’t run over the strap!!! 🤬🤬
How do you fly over this stuff and all these other 4x4s get stuck?

im surprised how many trucks do not have front tow hooks...and you have a lot of patience with those strap runners
GM puts the most on their vehicles. Followed by Super Duties
I remember that day. That’s when that crazy lady in the Bronco Sport got stuck on a 3-4 foot hill.
Oh I remember
Busy day!

Somewhere all those drivers had read the "when in doubt gas it out" book :D
Sometimes it works.
I'm from SA never been to Galveston Beach. Love to pull people out. How do I get to the Galveston beach?
San Luis Beach

UTV allowed at SLP?
Technically yes. The cops don't like people riding them there because they go up in the dunes with them which is illegal.
Is it always so busy there?
You need someone along just to video.
The summer is always busy. Throw in nice weather and it's even busier.
Golf carts do not belong on the beach
So true at lease not where soft sand is present lol
Dam I hope I get to make it out there this weekend it's been a year since I been out there miss out on the fun
