I use my own version of the SOAP method. I edit the method and add to it as I feel led. I use the Big HP for my daily devotion. I found a Bible Study guide online and have been using it. No matter what is used, the point is to spend time with God. Agree that we can read the same verse or passage many times and learn something new each time. We are constantly growing in our walk. Love your video on Scripture writing. ❤️🙏
I just got this style of happy planner today and was so unsure how to use it and your video has inspired me to want to really use it everyday and thank you for teaching me so many ways I can do it 🫶 I have been struggling to focus on what matter and your video motivated me❤❤❤
Awww Ashley! Thank you so much for your sweet comment and I am so glad to be a help. I hope you enjoy your new planner. Keep going beautiful. You got this💜💜💜
I just started using The Happy Planner for Faith. I am using the SOAP method as it appears in the planner. I first learned about SOAP in Bible Study when we read Ann Graham Lotz and Priscilla Shirer. I really learn more using the SOAP method as it is brief and allows me to focus on the main ideas. I really liked your video. You mentioned some different methods that I think would be helpful. Have a Blessed Week!
These are great ideas! Thank you for sharing them. I just recently discovered the Happy Planner and I've been thinking of getting one. You have really beautiful handwriting!
Helpful! I’ve decided I will do a separate planner for appointments and the like and use the faith planner as just that. Will maybe incorporate others things faith related in it. Thanks for the inspiration. Have a blessed New Year.
Hi Kenya, thank you so much for this video! I am absolutely in love with the word of God and have recently started building my Bible and journal collection because I too love florals, purple, pink, teal & all things pretty😊 however, recently, I have looked at everything that I have purchased and it overwhelms me with not knowing where to begin. this particular video has really simplified things for me in a way that I can understand so I really appreciate you breaking it down especially all the study methods. I definitely plan to watch more videos so I can figure out what I want to incorporate into my study habits. My question to you is I recently ordered an iPad and would like to know if that would just make things more complex or if there’s a way to use it for my Bible study as far as notetaking, journaling, sermon notes, devotion, etc. If you have a iPad/tablet how do you use yours, if you use for any of these purposes?
Oh wow! We have a lot in common. I love it and I totally get the overwhelming feeling with all the things. My biggest advice is to incorporate one thing at a time and then build on the things that work for you. About the iPad.... I actually have a Samsung tablet and I only use it for the Bible app, concordance and Google for my study. I am a paper girl when it comes to Bible study because it helps me remember, however, I can definitely see how doing it digitally could be convenient (especially on the go and less to carry). The only thing about that would be the alert distractions which can be more of a negative than a positive. Also, with paper, I can get as creative as I want. I like that freedom. I would love to know more though with how you are thinking of using your iPad.
@@KenyaPatterson I personally prefer carrying a physical Bible to church and as I begin my deep dive into to the Word of God at home, I think it would work best for me to have several Bibles open in different translations when studying at home. The iPad I think may be ideal for on-the-go so I’m thinking of downloading a Faith Planner & possibly a Budget Planner to go along with the cash stuffing method I’m trying out. I love the Bible app. I have it on my phone but I do not have a concordance. Thanks for the mention, I’ll need to find an app that offers one. Great idea💡So I think Faith Planning/Journaling/Devotion/Scripture of the Day or sermons on RUclips might be nice for my tablet when traveling or on- the-go. I love to write, highlight, tab, sticker, post-it, plan, etc. so having paper & printed copies of everything is a must. I’m going to pray God gives me direction towards the “one” thing to incorporate and build upon. I’m super excited to see what He will reveal to me. Blessings! and thank you for the wonderful content you put into your channel. I’m happy to have landed here. 😊
I have always felt too limited by the faith layout, but not limited enough by doing more fully open journaling. Goldilocks syndrome! 😁 I ended up using a horizontal planner which usually works for me, it still doesn’t feel quite right. I might have to go back to this layout (or regular vertical) with some of these tips and options and try again!
Hobby Lobby has bound books in set of 3 by planners. One has to do with faith. That layout in the Bible study book is really guided, but is more open than this layout. Daily layout is 2 page spread. Might be worth checking out if you are looking for something different. Their bound books can be taken apart and disc punched if motivated.
What I have been doing for my more in depth studies is use filler Paper and this has given me the ultimate freedom. I have yet to try a horizontal, but I do think a lined vertical would be better. I have even considered going to a BIG. You can just about use anything honestly which is what I love. 💜💜💜💜
Thanks for sharing these great ideas for varying Bible study. Strange question. Your hands look very hydrated, yet you didn’t get any oily spots on your pages. What’s your secret? 😂😊❤️
Hey Bestie! Thank you so much for watching! Which method are you interested to try?
They all look very interesting but I think I'm most interested in the Word Study
I thank the Lord for you. You not only explain but, you actually write them out. Your sprit is awesome. God bless you.

Yes Aubrey! I have seen these... They are also great options💜💜💜
I write the scriptures on the monthly and key words over on the planner and prayer requests/journal
How do you use your monthly layout.
❤️❤️❤️
Can you do more on the horizontal. I need more writing room. Thanks
Surprisingly I haven't use the horizontal for faith yet, I can definitely add that to list to try 💜
Hi, which paper is this, it's so beautiful
It is an older faith planner from the Happy Planner that I had some unused weeks in.
Very helpful, never thought of micro journaling. That’s a clever idea.
Yes! I hope to share a full spread soon. Thanks for watching 💜

Awww thank you so much! I typically wash my hands first and apply the Nivea Essentially Enriched lotion. It had been really good for my skin💜
I do the scripture writing
Yes!!! Me too currently... Such a great way to study the word💜💜💜
Which Bible app do you use?
I use the Youversion Bible App and I just downloaded the Blue Letter Bible to test it out💜
Really enjoyed your explanation on the many ways to use this layout🫶🏼
