For me a light bar is good for plowing when you raise the plow it usually covers half of the stock lights. Haven't found a set up I like yet. I also don't want to cover the rad relocate. Nice video, keep up the good work.
I prefer a light bar too. The stock lights get blocked by my plow as well and get filthy when I hit mud holes, the center mounted light bar stays clean tho.
Good to see Diesel and Cassandra back. Keep us posted on the quality of these lights. If it fogs behind the lens or rattles.

Hey guys. Just ordered a set for my 2020 Kodi thanks to your video. Been looking for a replacement cause those OEM halogens are, well, very poor. Gonna look to see if you did get a night run done so I can see the difference. Cheers. Keep up the great vids, especially the Kodi mod vids...lol😜
I dont think we ever filmed a night ride but we have used it at night a ton. Its a large upgrade.
New lights on the Kodiak look great! I like how they’re a sealed unit. Should be good for going through Deepwater. Shop looking great!! Can’t find the hole.. Oh no don’t go there. LOL !
Yeah! We considered what you did a while back with the hid lights. How did that last out of curiosity?
@@MainvilleATV They are still working fine. I did seal the backside of the housing up with silicone though.
To make sure no water got to the bulbs.

I have a 2014 Arctic Cat 700 TRV quad and I've replaced my headlights with a newer LED from Amazon. The new lights are whiter but are still terrible so I stuck a light bar on and blind everyone in front of me. lol I need to find a better light replacement for my stock lights. I need something for my '98 Arctic Cat ZR 500 headlight too. That's also terrible. lol Great video!!!
My dad has the exact same atv. Were looking for led pods that fit the oem dimensions. I hear you on the light struggle but we got it done!

I did a custom LED in my original pod. I cut all the original bulb locking brackets out and glued in a nice set of LED lights into it.
And so so many dirty comments in this video 😆

I’ve got some far mudding halos to install on my wife’s Kodiak mabey I’ll switch the lights out before I put the halos on. Those lights you installed identical size of stock?
They fit perfectly and are exactly the same size.
Halogen never cut it! Much better upgrade! You two do crack me up...no matter. Kyle, you are still my favorite Timbit! lol
I removed the bulb from my grizz high beam since it’s pointless when the racks loaded with gear. Luckily the led headlights that came Oem have a high and low mode so I haven’t had to worry to much about my lighting. Yet...
The grizz leds are pretty good in my opinion, it would be a small upgrade for you but way better for the kodiaks

Did you have to cut into the factory wiring to connect the new lights? Can you show a closeup of how you wired them? I am thinking about upgrading my Kodiak 700 as well, but don't want to cut the factory wiring (bike is still under warranty)
Yes I did hard wire the light. If your dealer gives you a hard time about that, they arent a good dealer.

Hey Sam. They should fit the 21, yamaha never changes anything really lol. FDI concepts sell the lights on facebook and ebay

For the kodiak, look up fdi concepts on Facebook or Ebay, they dont have a direct link so to speak. The h13s in the sled are from amazon. Just look up an h13 led conversion.

It's an absolute improvement. I'm especially a fan that they kept the visco also, both have a place and they have it nailed. Theres a minor issue with the 4lok in terms of engagement but nothing at all to worry about, it's not broken just the way it works.
