The console purity was real and pretty intense here, seriously Mario brings new meaning to road rage here Grant you I used to be hardcore, all in and exclusively card carrying Nintendo fanboy , but jumped to playstation cause the lack of mature and 3rd party games that Wii and its successors just couldn't support. All in all it was funny, I thought originally this was the robot chicken skit where a bunch of old cartoon, tv , game and movie characters raced when I first clicked.

Have you ever watched the reboot to Super Mario Bros Z? It was a Mario/Sonic crossover that had a lot of influences from Dragon Ball Z. Mark Haynes (AKA, Alvin Earthworm) released it back in the heyday of Newgrounds, which used 16 bit sprite animation but it had some really great action even with that. He kind of burnt himself out though, and he didn't care for where the series was headed, so after nearly a decade, he rebooted it. It's kind of absolutely amazing.
