I guess all I can say is I immediately felt my heart well up with emotion, I literally choked back tears. Much respect for the athletic ability - their level of commitment - the love of their sport & above all else their trust for each other. Absolutely beautiful when you look at all aspects, just like so many other things in this world that are simply amazing to behold when you stop and understand how everything comes together for good.
These two are beautiful. They look as if there's some solid, loving and fun character behind the smiles. Their athleticism is perfect. Thanks for sharing! Would love to see the journey of their training rather than just the stunts. Keep on rocking!
We all "ooh and ahh" at the crazy twists, turns and flips of these amazing young women (sidenote: they definitely deserve the cheers). Here is a "wowsers" for the sheer brute strength that these young men possess to safely allow for these amazing acrobatic moves to take even be performed...
They were either 1st or 2nd place in the partners category at Nationals last year!! (Top three in this category were from Weber State!!) I was REALLY surprised Gauge & Kat were only 3rd place!!
The most interesting and amazing thing watching these videos is the trust the young lady has in her partner. Yes they are in shape as any College athlete. As tiny as the flyers are overcoming the fear that the Man will be in position and keep her balanced and elevated must be earned. Well done!

IF the holder drops the flyer, or if the flyer misses a cue, the other guy (sometimes a girl) is there to catch her or at least break the fall. So, dangerous as it looks, and dangerous as it actually is, there are precautions in place. That in no way precludes my nervous anticipation when I watch; but it does ease my mind some!

Are you serious?? *Sickening* ??!!! So they’re “trying to make the beginning _look sexual_ with closeups of his hands on her waist & them holding hands”??? Did you notice the majority of the video is closeups?? And these closeups are shown to enable the viewer to see exactly what’s going on from beginning to end of the stunts being performed- particularly, in the midst of the routine, closeups enable the “spectator” to see exactly what hand & footwork is necessary from the base & flyer PLUS the coordination required between the base & flyer to to properly execute such stunts. A viewpoint that would never be seen otherwise!! Well done!!! The beginning being a closeup of his hands on her waist & what you view as them “holding hands” is the perfect lead into this video, as that’s exactly how they start going into the stunt. OMG!!! That’s so inappropriate!!! 😂 Actually, it’s NOT. _You’re_ sexualizing it. Apparently, you don’t understand the context of the video you’re watching. At last year’s National Competition, where there’s a “partner’s” category, these 2 won either 1st or 2nd place…. & the team they’re on at Weber State won their 5th in a row National Championship!!! If it’s not sport not takes ALOT of hard work, then why is it now an Olympic sport??!!! And if you take it in only a sexual way, then apparently you need to get laid terribly!!!!
