    Maybe it's the light but it looks better than an MS62 more like a 63 OR 64 my eyes aren't as good plus I don't see it in hand but the way I look at thing below 63 is has some real good hits on them. That's a real nice coin. Your're lucky! Good price too.

      @@americanfortruth thank you! Yes, I think it’s definitely a very nice example for a ms 62. I think it could easily grade a 63. I’m definitely happy with the coin after getting it in hand:)

    Really beautiful coin,I've got 2 34s in ex fine 45 by pcgs,been looking for a ms but the prices are mind blowing,keep hunting,that's what makes it fun and God Bless.

      @@mikesemones8333 yes definitely! I was able to score a 1899 as well this year. It was only an ms 62 but it’s a beautiful coin and looks under graded. Congrats on the 1899! What grade did you get?

      @jadonnoble5621 That's what mine is too,I also think mine is under graded to,grading companies can drive you crazy,I've sent coins in thinking they would come back like I was believing and it didn't happen,also have sent coins in that came back higher then I was thinking,I can't figure it out.Still haven't sent any coins to CAC for grades.

      @@mikesemones8333 haha exactly! Grading is a professional opinion at the end of the day so it can be a little inconsistent. I haven’t sent coins off to CAC either. I want to but the cost usually won’t add enough value to really make it worth it.

    Congrats on your key date Peace pickup. I definitely recommend collecting the entire series. Unlike the Morgans, it’s actually achievable in high grades. I collected the full set in MS63 to MS66 in about 2+ years, the only exception being the 1934-S, which is AU-55 with the CAC green bean. MS grades on that one run four figures and up.

      @@alwaysseekingsilver that’s awesome! Yes, I might look into completing the set. The crazy thing is I almost bought a completed ungraded set for cheap about 5 or 6 years ago but wimped out. I think it only went for like $35 a coin.

      @@jadonnoble5621 For your commenter and you, grading coins can be tricky. Especially when you need a specific grade to be on the coin, or it's not worth grading. The Coin Geek did a video about that, I think you should watch before sending stuff for grading.

    Nice coin. 1928 and 1921 ms coins are great. 1934S are real expensive in MS.

      @@slowrunner thank you. Yes, that’s correct. The later year Peace dollars seem to be tougher to get in higher grade and are conditional rarities.

      @@jadonnoble5621 All of the later years are usually lower mintages that didn't go 2 million of the run. Some were around 1 million, as the 1934 S.

    A year set of Peace dollars (not adding each and every mint) is only 10 coins. 1921-28, and 34-35. That said, the 1928 P is a coin I want to get, because I went with the 28 S to get the year because they are a lot more common and not a high price, until you look into MS-60 or higher coins.

    Do you think NGC or pcgs is easier to get a higher grade?

      @@robertadams9746 they are pretty similar on grading. Once you get into the really high grades it seems PCGS is slightly tougher but for most coins they seem to grade about the same overall.

    WRONG!! THIS PEACE DOLLAR IS 'NOT' ONE OF THE RAREST COINS EVER MINTED.....THE 1799 BUST SILVER DOLLAR IS MUCH MORE RARE!!!!!!!

      @@davidhull7814 in terms of Peace dollars it is the rarest regular struck of the series. Obviously there are rarer silver dollars out there. Take any proof Morgan dollar that has around a 1000 mintage. I said it was one of the rarest but definitely not the rarest.
