In other words, shallow ponds all over the place so water doesn't erode the land. I'm strip planting quail food. Birds can walk on the unplanted & planted areas. Also digging deer ponds for wildlife. Thx for the ideas. May dig several shallow ponds for better water management & plant quail food in them.
