Literally added 7ppg just by doing that and stampeding into catches.
I'm always the fastest player on the court, and I'm a good playmaker.
This shit alone has made me three times as effective. I really live by that 0,5 Rule now. Basketball should feel simple.

hey man, checkout this video: ruclips.net/video/JdFxgliCZIQ/видео.htmlsi=vbSUzBAVzUw3wgaS
Also I'd recommend playing as much 1 on 1 as you can, ideally full court or at least starting at half court so you really have to move with the ball against defense

Question. I work out for at least an hour and a half or 2 hours and I feel like I’m falling behind because everyone works like 3 hours. I work on ball handling and do a 3 level scoring workout. Then I do a Kyrie Irving finishing workout and shooting. I feel like that’s a good start to get better since I’m small but sometimes I doubt myself and think to myself that I’m not getting better. What should I do? Also great video! Just subbed 👍🏿

The idea that working out for 3 hours vs. 1 or 2 means the person who works out for 3 will be better just isn’t true. There’s way more factors at play. The quality of the workout matters 1000% more than the amount of time you’re on the court. You should focus on high quality workouts anywhere from 45 minutes to an hour and a half. Best way to know if you’re getting better is to play as much as you can, whether it’s 5 on 5 or even just 1 on 1 and see if you continually play better and feel more confident over time.

@@VisionDrivenBasketball Okay. I just recently watched your video on how to structure a workout and here are the key areas non want to improve in. Having the ball on the string, attacking the basket, being a deadly shooter like catch and shoot and shooting of the dribble. Do you have any drills or workouts that focus on those key areas? I look forward to your reply.

also you gotta play more basketball 5v5 so that you can self adjust and figure out what to work on by yourself. I think actually playing basketball is the best way to get better at playing basketball. 3v3, 4v4, 5v5. just play a lot of basketball and self adjust on what you need to work on by yourself. mine is just shooting 3s in general. it's such an overpowered ability in basketball

Hey coach what advice would you give to a currently undersized post player that wants to play wing or guard for his high school team? The coach might not be supportive of that currently.

Do your best in the role you have right now, but work on those guard skills so that in the future you can earn more opportunities on the perimeter. Focus on becoming a knockdown shooter would be the biggest suggestion I can give you. You’ve gotta focus on getting better so that you get to the point where your perimeter skills help the team enough for your coach to play you there.

Going D1 has nothing to do with how many shots you shoot a day. Plenty of guys D1 who put in very little work but have size and athleticism. Plenty of guys D3 who work way harder than most D1 guys. Better question is how many shots will help you become the best shooter possible. Answer is it depends. Could be 100 could be 400. You want your goal to be quality reps over quantity of reps. That’s what really matters, so however many quality reps you can get into an hour long workout, do that consistently and you’ll get better.

@@VisionDrivenBasketball Thank you for the response, any tips to stay consistent with training in general. It’s something I struggle with as I’m not the most disciplined and not always motivated. Currently I don’t have school so I have a lot of “free time”. I also was putting in a lot of hours over the summer but I’m not where I want to be so that may have hurt my motivation.
