That majestic whine of the engine and gears of the Moskvich and Lada's is the reason ill probly never switch to a modern car. Its almost like you're driving something alive :D
Mine had a 2140D bulgarian assembly in from Lovech, the other (mom's dad) had a russian 2138 from the first ones 1976 yellow. But the Jiguli is more prominent in my childhood, cuz my grandad's biggest sister had a 2101 from 1973, she gave that to my dad to drive me to kindergarden during winter, and since i was a pretty isolated child during the dangerous 90s its the car that i played around in all day. Now ive owned a 2102 for 4 years, and its served me well, but ill probly barter it for a 2101 first chance i get.
@@yuraflokadrift A Fiat 125 sold the guy in Ruse from who i bought a brand new HVZ Tourist bike for 120 leva. But he was selling it for 500 leva, for parts. Biggest problem the polish Fiats had was there was no parts for them. Poland simply didnt export enough parts, and when something broke people just got rid of them, they were incompatible with Lada parts too. Right now there's one or two Fiat 125's in my town, but their owners barely drive em. Theres two guys with Zastava GT55's though, and they daily drive them, cuz i guess theres parts for them.
Awesome review and driving! I liked this car, In general I like old cars. Here in brazil we have the Chevrolet Chevette, this car is fun to drive if there is wet weather. The Chevette is rwd, Straight-4 Naturally Aspirated 1.6L, it's my favorite car to be fair haha Btw, sorry for didn't come here when the video was launched, I got busy with the holidays 😅 Happy New Year!! I hope your final weeks of 2021 was great, and you enjoyed the holidays.
