You won't be disappointed! We have been here full time for 2 years and feel this is the best place we have ever lived! Hope you don't have to wait too long! Thanks for watching!
Garden City is one of my favorite beaches in the world along with Murrells Inlet! Everyone needs to go both places at least once in their lifetime. My family went there for years! We still go there! You will love the beauty of it all, so go now!
You are 100% right! Now that we live here, we take the time to visit Garden City Beach and the areas around it often! We walk the beach 3-4 times a week! Thanks for watching!
Hi there, @ 4:11 you mentioned a walk at "Izita" Bog (not sure I got that right). I've looked high and low to find out where it's located. Actually I can't find anything about it. Could you provide some info on where it is? Looks like a cool little walk. Thx!
Oh sorry...what I said was "take a walk and visit a Bog". Audio was not too clear! That bog is in the nature preserve for residents of our neighborhood in Murrells Inlet. I know you can see something similar at Congaree National Park www.nps.gov/cong/index.htm Sorry for the confusion!
You are right! That video was done in 2018 and since we moved here full time in Jan 2020 we have discovered many more great things about Garden City Beach and the surrounding area! We were hoping to go the Pier at night in the summer of 2020 but then Covid hit!
Thanks so much for the memories...lived in Surfside Beach and then Moss Creek in Murrells Inlet for 15 years before retiring to Palm Coast, FL. What great food up and down the Inlet. Nance's Restaurant was nearby and a favorite for steamed oysters...yummy...thanks again.
Great hidden gem that most people who go to Myrtle Beach never bother to visit. We love it down in Murrells inlet. Have been going for Years. We've even been to that bog you mentioned between TPC and Blackmoor golf course.
We agree...great place to visit and even a better place to retire someday! Lets hope Hurricane Florence shows the Carolina coast some mercy! Thanks for watching!
Thanks for your video! I live here in Murrells Inlet between TPC and Blackmoor next to those houses you showed. Dead Dog is pretty much our favorite bar down at the marsh and Twisters is one of our favorite ice cream places. Although you didn't show the biker bars, we are a very popular place during the spring and fall bike weeks. We moved here from Long Island NY and never looked back!
Cant wait to be living there i love it

You should have mentioned the Garden City Pier at night with bars and live music at either end, an ice cream shop next door, an arcade and gift shop,

Tip from a local... The Conch Cafe is pronounced the “Konk” Cafe. 😎
You are 100% right! Since moving here in January I've tried to say it correctly! Lots to learn coming from NJ! Thanks for watching!

Yes,few years ago...alot of the people there really seemed to like it but we did not.
i once enjoyed prossers but they always gave me a hassle about my service dog.
