Daring to be great?! He had no other options. Loma is with Top Rank and Mikey and top rank hate each other. All of the top guys at 140 are in the wbss tournament and there’s nobody to fight at 135. If Mikey wants a payday he didn’t have any other options. Spence was the only one available to fight. Thurman and porter are booked. Khan and Brook are negotiating a fight. Mikey literally had no other options for a big payday. I’m glad he took the fight but this is a money grab like khan vs Canelo or Brook vs GGG. If Mikey gets smashed nobody will care and he’ll probably make 5 or 10 million. He won’t even get hurt too bad because if he starts to get touched up Robert will stop the fight.

Well if this is Mikey lookin for a payday, it worked because I will be buying this fight. People complain about fighters ducking and avoiding risk. To fight Porter the WBC champ, Errol Spence would need to join the WBC clean program with year round random VADA testing....which he won't do. That's the real reason that fight won't happen. Tell Spence to lay off the drugs and do VADA if you want to see him vs Porter. Spence vs Keith can happen at any time though but Thurman doesn't want it, never has and probably never will.

Spence is a champion therefore he is not ranked in any other title. When you earn one of the main belts you are removed from the other sanctioning body's rankings. Why, because unification trumps a mandatory therefore no ranking needed. Errol gets tested by USADA, when he does win the WBC then you'll see him enroll with VADA.

If spence wins, i dont see mikey losing any stock because of the size and skill of spence,. Plus on top of it all, its going to put his name out there to the casual fans because of it being shown on FOX instead of shotime or PPV.
