- RingTV's Cynthia Conte interviewed WBA welterweight titleholder Keith Thurman about defending his belt against Josesito Lopez on January 26 at Brooklyn's Barclays Center on FOX. Welterweight rival (fellow unbeaten titleholder) Errol Spence crashed the interview to take issue with Thurman calling him a "false profit." Spence says Thurman has to prove it. Thurman said the showdown WILL happen.

Just wanna say that as a boxing fan i really appreciate and respect these two former champs, who were able to have a civil, tongue in cheek conversation here back when boxing wasn't as toxic. Its a shame they didnt get to Duke it out in the ring but we gotta show these champs more love and respect less hate cuz they really put their lives on the line for this sport.
