people gotta realize it definitely wasn’t easy for floyd, there’s a reason errol spence is in the position he is in today with boxing, he can box with the best of them, two elite boxers r going to give eachother work and improve eachothers skills in a close competitive spar, which ever fighter u think is better, doesn’t mean they slapped tf out of the other in sparring, some days they’ll win, other days u will. simple

people gotta realize Floyd was 36 years old spent 2 months in jail and hadn't boxed in a year as well. Spence said himself, he was trying to prove a point, for Floyd it was just another sparring session after working out for 4-5hrs already...

I heard Errol got out on him day one but Floyd became himself later. Listen to Mickey Bey take on it. He has an issue with Floyd but he said it was good sessions. Plus Floyd was old anyway.

@@Xenlacasa45 wasn't a gym war errol was part of floyds camp. No telling what floyd was working on. It's not always a straight up fight or some dog house shit. Sometimes fighters are just working on shit, tactics etc.
I heard he shook Floyd up so bad he almost got kicked out of camp. Knocked out adrien broner in training as well.

He didn’t knock out Broner. He caught Broner with a good shot as the bell rang & knowing Broner he asked to run it back for another round but people in the gym wouldn’t allow it as they thought it would’ve got serious.

Nice, and it was a lesson learned for Floyd. It sounds like he underestimated Spence and was talking too much sh** with degrading name calling, which caused Spence to put the beating on him. Floyd was the great one and the smartest technical boxer of them all, but ran his mouth one too many times that day. No matter how great you are there will be days when you step in and the other guy has your number.
Big tall long rangey southpaw who can hit like a truck, as good as Floyd is thats a nightmare for any aging fighter, especially when young dude got that point to prove

@@beachpattio5361 - Please provide the link where Spence said he gave the edge to Floyd. He certainly did not in the videos I saw him speak in. And on a video I saw, Floyd did not say he did well or better when specifically asked about the sparring session, with Spence standing right next to him.
