Pretty good job at 4:35 you see it partially start to run off the road but otherwise quite good. Are all of these waymo's limited to 30 mph? I don't think I saw any speed higher than that.
That was a lane change into a driving lane, but then there were parked cars in that lane. Speed limit in most of SF is 25mph, there are a handful of roads that have higher speed limits.
Please do post the original video with original soundtrack ... that would be very helpful for analysis. Or at least post a 4x speed up version - as u must know YT only supports to play at slowest 0.25x
This is a commercial product for commercial vehicles intended to drop people off at places they actually want to be. Nobody ever asked a driver to take them to unincorporated rural Wyoming.
It's HD maps and lidar programmed into a system specifically tailored to that space. The Tesla solution will work on ANY road in America without HD maps. Think slot car racing versus Grand theft Auto.

Very well done! Thanks for posting!
I don't care who is using camera only or who is using Lidar and cam. I only care about who is safer.
I choose Waymo.
You can't own a waymo.

Nice! Can you post it at normal speed as well?
They won’t. If you slow it down and count, there are time where it sits at stop signs for 20s when there’s no traffic.

At normal speed is 6 mph
You can slow the play speed down to 0.25x and get "normal"

How much would it cost to install this on other cars?
At 1:31 it merrily ignores the "keep clear" sign - just like a human :)

Put waymo on un mapped Street.. and it becomes just another vehicle.

Is this pre-mapped??
Needs to allow real users to release this kind of videos.

why is this not as good as Tesla FSD?
