I've been paddle boarding so many times on lakes that are 60ft deep with very rough waters. Never was I ever worried about drowning. I fall off all the friggn time. This guy was taken out and all media knows what time it is. Damage control time, their sickening

A guy that can swim doesn't go down in 8ft of water holding on to a big piece of styrofoam. Years ago at Ocean Beach in San Diego I got caught up in a rip current and was swept out at least 200 yards from the beach and by frantically treading water I was eventually pushed back around to touching sand. I'm a marginal swimmer and literally thought I was going to die but I made it. When faced with drowning your mind and body can do amazing things. Something just ain't right about that chef.

My second husband was a private chef for a very well known wealthy family. The knew actors, writers, politicians and royalty that come and stay as guests. We were required to live on the grounds. My husband never discussed his job. But by accident we learned never to say not a word in private not even in our car because the walls had eyes. We caught on when his right hand man mention something our one year old son had done that you had to actually see how he done it and we had never mentioned it to anyone.. My husband also changed careers went into business in construction and heavy electrical work after five years.

My son did nothing wrong it was something funny that we hadn't told anyone about and basically forgot. But while Mr.X assistant was talking with us he happened to mention it and got a good laugh about it. But since it happened inside the house and we told no one. We realized we were being watch inside the home. Now Mr.X (boss)was a kind man and fond of children. But in business he was known as a hard man. The whole family is well known in the industry.

@halcolombo6380 I’ve had 10 years open water marine rescue and endurance racing offshore. Yea some can, also 1000 yards off shore if you are a good open water swim is a warm up lil minnow. But if you even were beginning to have any truth to your claim which I doubt) you would know even a pool swimmer can have extreme troubles and panic moving into open water with currents, the depths and no edge to grab hold.

Staying beneath the surface of a lake, ocean, or Niagra Falls, or swimming pool for about 10 minutes has proven to allow for them to be so relaxed that they forget about the heat. Forever. I lived 5 years in Taos. Got to know the locals pretty well. Got a general sense of how society operates in that area. People commit suicided several times a year off the Rio Grand Gorge bridge, children and women are trafficked by drug pimps in their fine adobe homes out on the border of the mesa, and I personally met a handful of people that became "dead" with really lame excuses tied to them. I've also encountered women who were harassed and abused by the Taos police, the justice system is corrupt, court secretaries tied to drug traffickin and the like. Very deceptive place. It was encouraged in the warm months to put on your tourist face and appease all the travelers that come through, but to hold residency, you gotta be corrupt and play these games with folks. If you don't... you get made dead. That's my Taos experience, and I'm never going back there. Not a safe state to raise children, unless you want them to learn the art of deception and how to manipulate others for your gains through life. I'd never go back there. The place is a lie. Not surprised a chef for the clintons died there, but I gotta ask where in the sangre de christo mountains did he drown? There's not many public accessible lakes that I know of up there. The most famous lake being blue lake, under Taos Pueblo restrictions. Nixon gifted the lands back to the natives in this area, and they hold him in high regard for that. There's a lot of strange phenomenon and cow mutilations in the area as well. Not going back there.
