I've spent 5 and stil suck. First 2 years I've spent 10 hours per day, 5 for unity and programming, 5 for Blender. Game development put me into hell of disgusting miself. I never been such a frustrating before whole my life. Now I almost hate that, but can't leave it either. So, if you newby and your imagination painting colorfull horisons of fast and easy succes in game development, you also should count negative experiences as mine, which pretty less youtubers spoken. But if you really could not imaging your life without gamedew, I fish you good luck.
