Ya, I'm surprised I didn't either! I saw the amount of views on the video and I was honestly surprised that it was never even brought to my attention before starting the channel!
You know I didn’t know that either. Good for you was the first song I heard and that was because of tiktok. Then I looked her up. Sour is in my regular rotation.
This song has a way of making everyone feel like a heartbroken 16 years old.
Isn’t it impressive how this song makes you feel like you’re a 16 year old girl who just had your heart broken by your first real love, who you thought you would be with forever, and to make it worse…it’s by no fault of your own…there’s nothing you can do to make it right, because he just doesn’t want you anymore…but he does want her, and she’s quite a likable person…which makes it much harder to feel like he actually made the wrong choice…because at this point…you’re convinced anyone would have chosen her, because she’s perfect, and that just feels so hopeless and you’re convinced you’re never gonna be capable of loving someone else, and if by some miracle, you find someone who chooses to give you a chance…it’ll never reach the kind of amazing you had with him?
…or is that just me lol.
I’m 31 and I’m telling you, nothing transports me back to that place of desperation, self-doubt, and hopelessness that I felt at that age quite like this song does.

Then Olivia releases a wholeass album about the relationship and things get even worse. So death threats, stress induced health problems, a lot of talking and amazing music (on all sides) came from this whole situation. Sabrina has "because i liked a boy" song+MV (ans a great album) about the whole death threats, Joshua has "crisis", "secret" and "set me free" songs+MVs about that and a bit more. (Word on the vine is that "bad idea, right" of the new album might be about him too)

@@Videoeditorreacts @Videoeditorreacts I really am . So I forgot because my mom called and I lost track of the stream of thought. I'm not sure the MVs I mentioned are that interesting to you and what you do. They are One the simpler side and lower budget. Sabrina's as some more dough than Joshua's, costume and set wise "because I liked a Boy" is quite beautiful. On Joshua's side maybe "Secret" does the most, with lighting and such...they are both great writers, specially Sabrina. Going back to Olivia , she did a lot with SOUR because it was no concerts live. She did a YT livestream concert (SOUR Prom) with a pretty complex routine to it. It's about 30mins but I think you would have some good fun with that one. Maybe watch the MVs of the songs first though hahah Anyway, I need sleep and am already ranting. See you in the next video!!!!!
