Animals are being replaced and going extinct so only some farmed Animals remain unseen because it's dark and irrelevant to the plot. They are not retconning them out, the later games are taking place when they're more scarce so updated elephant to copperajah because more relatable to kids who never seen one. Some are named after what normal animals they resembled which had to have existed at one point to know they looked like one. They're from ultra space wormholes which is where arceus came from and seeded their world's pokemon from mew and ditto is a failed experiment and so is mewtwo but with human DNA. People breed with pokemon and became super human which is why they can survive impossible things and some have colorful hair. Pokeballs could be altered to catch humans and are designed to not catch other people's pokemon and certain percentages of human DNA without over rides like a snag machine or probably a way for police to apprehend criminals.

This makes a lot more sense when you think about him in the movie vs it in the game.
The movie shows that he is only vulnerable after giving away fragments of himself to humanity but even then states that these pieces are indestructible.
Not to mention, even when vulnerable he is still INSANELY strong to the point that 3 legendaries and the whole of Ash's team / friends couldn't do anything more than slow him down.
Meanwhile, in the game you can theoretically KO it with a lone Pikachu.

It's basically cannon at this point, but it's basically just that the God like legendaries that aren't cannon species aren't actually captured technically. They could break out and leave at any time they wish, they just think the player has earned their help for a bit. And by a bit, I mean the trainers whole life. After all, one humans lifespan is basically spending an hour at a friend's house to an eternal being.

    • @diablo.the.cheater
      @diablo.the.cheater 4 месяца назад +1

@@battlesheep2552 Yeah, in fact it is probably not just the god-like legendaries but most legendaries that are that way. Like Latios and Laties probably are not being stingy and are helping us in full but I can't see groudon, celebi or even Ho-oH helping us with all their power. Celebi with their time powers would be untouchable, groudon strength is able to rearrange the landscape at a global level... Ho-oH is capable of creating other lesser legendaries on demand from random pokemon.
I think of the legendaries the ones that we see their actual strength have to be more like victiny, meloetta, the 3 kanto birds, the 3 Jhoto dogs, the 3 shino spirits, maybe Mew?(I don't think Mew is supposed to be that powerful, he is legendary because he is like the primordial sea but as a creature), by consequence Mewtwo...
TBH rather than the divide between legendaries and mythicals, I rather would like to get legendaries separated into legendaries that we use their full power and legendaries that are just lending us part of their power. It doesn't even have to be for the same reason, like Groudon may actually agree to use their full power if we asked but they can't in a normal pokemon battle because if they used it they would just kill the adversary pokemon, their trainer and even us, so they have to hold back and them holding back to not kill is what we get, holding back is hard. While others like Dialga may actually be able to use more power without it being lethal if they wanted but then it wouldn't be that interesting for them, so they lend us a level of power that they consider fair or fun. Celebi may be lending us most of their power in the form of elemental attacks or physical attacks but is holding back most of their time-based abilities because using them for competitive sport-like battling would just be wrong.

A crazy headcannon of mine is that the reason Porygon Z becomes crazy is because he's the only creature that realizes he's in a video game. That Dubious Disc that makes him evolve is code from the game's cartridge, and since Porygon is a computer Pokemon, he becomes self aware, but realizes he has no power since he isn't a protagonist.
Edit: Now looking back at what I said, it sounds like Porygon Z is the Spampton or Jevil of the Pokemon world. Unable to change fate, because fate is in control of the player. Porygon Z is nothing more but some bits of code to help the player in their journey.

      Oh, I know this one!
There was a Primeape that got so tired of fighting, it shrunk itself down (a self defense mechanism all Pokemon have) and went inside an old professor's glasses case.
This was from an old book from Red and Green, so it's not the FIRST use of Pokeballs, thanks to Legends Arceus, but it's likely it had become a lost art until then, or people realized you didn't need a specialized handmade apricorn ball, but any case would do, which lead to Pokeball factories using this, combined with a connection to Bill's (and later other computer geniuses) Pokemon storage system, to make a profit.

I have a headcanon that Pokeballs were the direct result of a program making Pokemon more train-able that started after the First World War, which lines up with the end of WW1 (1918) and the stated invention year (1925).
That scientist mucking about with a Primeape? He was a part of that program, and Primeape was chosen due to its proven ferocity; if Primeape can be contained and used on the battlefield, any other Pokemon can, too.
It isn’t until the 1950’s however, after they were used to devastating effect by the Japanese during WW2, that they began to see widespread commercial use.

    My headcannons are that
    > Legendaries CAN and WILL procreate, but daycares just don't have the right environment for that
    > Becaude the environment for their breeding is very rare, for a legendary to actually have sons or daughters only occurs once every a very long time, making it so very few legendaries are out there at a time
    > Because Legendaries mostly are said or very probable to be incapable of dying from age, that makes it so there are LOTS of legendary pokemons out there, just asleep or hidden.

    • @ninjadragongamer6861
      @ninjadragongamer6861 Год назад +14

I mostly agree, especially due to the sheer quantity of the same type of legendaries spread across different regions. However, I think there are some exceptions. The creation trio, the aura trio (I think that's the name anyway. The ones from X and Y), all three parts of the original dragon, the weather trio, the Sword and Shield trio (don't know the proper name), the Ruinous Quartet, Celebi, and, of course, Arceus. I don't think any of them reproduce, due to their importance to their home region or the world as a whole. The creation trio and Arceus are powerful enough to split their essence to create more of them to be in more places at once (hence why trainers can capture them). Xerneas and Yveltal are just reborn if they die, so they don't need to procreate. Zygarde is a combination of the cores and cells and doesn't reproduce, however the cells probably do reproduce, and the cores might. There would be multiple original dragons if it reproduced (since only the one would've split), and constituent parts of a greater whole probably don't have the capability to reproduce. If either Kyogre or Groudon had children, the balance of power between them would be uneven, so Rayquaza intervenes before they get to that point (by severely embarrassing any potential partner of either of them before they can finish their first date, I assume). Eternatus would be an even bigger problem if there were more of them, so there's clearly only one of it. The sword and shield doggos were completely unknown to modern day Galar, and they have phones, so there clearly aren't more elsewhere either, or they would've been found, thus there's probably only one of each. The Ruinous Quartet are physical manifestations produced by actual objects, so there's probably only one of each. There's only one Celebi, but there can be multiple at once because it ran out of room on the timeline, so it started doubling up in the same time period.

    • @battlesheep2552
      @battlesheep2552 Год назад +2

I had this idea for this event they should have implemented in BDSP. In it, you are allowed to breed Arceus, but only once. When that happens, the daycare man will say that a celebi came and stole the egg. You can track the celebi to a time portal that leads to the primordial void, where the celebi agrees to become your pokemon as long as you leave the egg there.

Legendaries definitely do have offsprings. I recall seeing Lugia with a child Lugia about the size of a Lapras in a Pokémon episode (or movie) and I know from Bulbapedia that there's at least one episode where multiple Celebi can be seen at a time. Granted, Celebi is a time traveler, so seeing multiple of it at the same time doesn't necessarily mean they're different individuals, but one of them was shiny, which does prove there are at least two.
Also, the Phione and Manaphy eggs must come from somewhere...

Since the games confirm that humans evolved/descended from Pokémon, my headcanon is that some people have higher levels of poké DNA than others. It could explain things like why Sada and Iono from S&V have sharp teeth/fangs, why N from B&W can completely understand Pokémon, or why Sabrina from the anime has straight up psychic powers.
But I also headcanon that it works the other way: some Pokémon having more 'advanced' DNA making it possible for them to use human speech. Like Team Rocket's Meowth for example, or certain Pokémon from the various movies (Lucario, Zorua, Shaymin, etc)

I AGREE. I even have a few stories where N has out and out psychic abilities like the psychic specialist trainer archetype, they were just really suppressed and restricted to only hearing Pokemon thoughts, but after being freed from Ghetsis his abilities start to (for lack of a better term) "evolve" into full psychic powers.
I have a headcanon linked to that that says his ability is inherited (his mother is my usual pick for who he inherited it FROM because Ghetsis sure doesn't have it.
Edit: my answer to the N is a Zoroark theory is that he's not; rather, a Zoroark was one of the Pokemon who raised him (he is seen with a Zorua in Evolutions) and he tied his hair back like that to better fit in with the "pack".

One of my favourite headcanons kinda spiralling into a bunch of smaller headcanons and it's all Pokemon Masters fault.
-The main headcanon is that Grimley got bored on Pasio so made an underground Poker ring with some of the other strong trainers like Nanu and the triplets. Eventually more trainers stopped by and no one has the nerve to tell Lear about it. This main headcanon spun off smaller headcanons, such as
-Emmet got banned from playing Poker because Emmet used to eat the poker chips
-Crasher wake has an action figure collection and asks strong trainers (like Blue) if they can hook him up with some rare ones of them
-Nanu refuses to do anything about the illegal activities on Pasio despite being a cop because its not his duristiction and he likes the chaos
-Sidney doesn't drink much booze because he lost respect for it when he found out that the "Devils Drink" isn't made by the devil
-Morty formed a sort of parent like bond with Allister since they share a lot of similarities (Ghost type, gym leader, supernatural, "seeing things" etc)
-They try and refuse entry to the younger trainers (like the protags) but one day Silver just walked in and no one batted an eye. It's now where he goes to escape Ethan being overbearing and Morty gawking at his Ho oh
I don't know how this became a thing it just did and I live for it

Head Canon #1: Ingo and Emmet are mirror twins, Ingo is right-handed while Emmet is left-handed.
Head Canon #2: N is not Ghetsis biological son, but both are still relatives. That's how Ghetsis found out about N's existence and his ability to understand with Pokémon. Therefore Ghetsis finding N in the wilderness was not a "random encounter", he actively searched for the latter.
Head Canon #3 (potential PLA spoilers): Volo is not Cynthia's ancestor, he is her descendant. Volo traveled back in time to the last time Arceus was mentioned in history books, which happened to be the the time our protagonist landed in Hisui. Ironically Volo created a self-fulfilling proficy.
To add more to the theory, I say Volo is Cynthia's son or brother and he is unable to find the 16 plates and Arceus in his original time because the games' protagonist currently owns all of them.
Head Canon #4: Entei, Raikou and Suicune were originally Eeveelutions before being resurrected by Ho-Oh. I think this is a pretty common one.
Head Canon #5: The bottles in Guzma's room in the Aether Mansion all contain Tapu Cocoa (or Eneco Cocoa, that's the pun in Japanese), canonically his favorite drink. Cute cups just don't fit the tough persona he puts up in front of others.

I always wrote stories where N is explicitly Ghetsis’s kid bc it made no sense that they looked so similar and yet were apparently unrelated. My original theory was that Ghetsis dumped baby N in the woods, possibly leaving a Grunt or a tracker to ensure he grew up safely then came back to "heroically rescue" a kid he already knew was there. It's very much in his wheelhouse given how dramatic he is. Lately though I've been having the idea that N's mother caught wind of Ghetsis’s plan and tried to escape with N, only having time to leave him in the nearby woods Moses-style before Ghetsis caught up with her and killed her.

I'm sure that a ton of people have similar headcanons, but here are mine anyways.
    1) Legendary and mythical Pokémon are immortal and godlike in status, so they actually Choose their trainers and just move on to another chosen partner when they are released or their current partner dies, which is why Pokémon like Arceus and Giratina are catchable in the first place. They choose to be caught.
    2) This is almost 100% wishful thinking, but I personally think that each Pokémon game has two timelines: The canon timeline and the player's timeline and in the player's timeline, the player character in each game is actually just the same person moving from region to region for some reason or another, which explains why they are always a prodigy regardless of the game and how the player can have Pokémon from past generations despite them not being native to the current region.
    3) N was a Pokémon Mystery Dungeons protagonist or one of the humans sent back from the PMD world in Gates To Infinity, which is why he can speak to Pokémon and understand them so well.
I've got a few more headcanons, but I'm tired of typing now.

@@TheRogueRenegade Oh, what an honor! Since you liked them, here's some of the other headcanons I've remembered:
      1) Ingo's traveling back into Hisui actually explains every special gimmick the Pokémon franchise has ever introduced through the crazy logistics of matter displacement and physics.
      2) The story of Giratina being banished is literally a retelling of the Fall from Grace in the bible, so I also choose to believe that Arceus, Palkia, and Dialga are some kind of commentary on the Holy Trinity.
      3) The reason a lot of modern weaponry doesn't seem to show up often in the games is because, and this is kinda dark, Pokémon are so powerful that they are the weapons with which modern war is waged.
      4) Mew might actually be the exact opposite of the singular genetic ancestor! Since time travel seems to be possible in the Pokémon universe, Mew might actually be the last Pokémon species to ever exist as the final genetic successor to the Pokémon race as a whole, which is why it can learn almost every move. It just makes sense to me.
      5) Like with real animals, there are both feral and domestic breeds of Pokémon, which is why npcs and villain team grunts all seem to have the same kinds of Pokémon while gym leaders, the elite four, villain team leaders, rivals, and the player all tend to have more competitively viable Pokémon.
      6) A lot of Pokedex entries about legendary, mythical, or even just particularly rare/dangerous Pokémon are either incorrect or lacking many details. I mean, who'd actually train a Litwick if it literally burned away at your life? Like, there's gotta be conditions to some of these things.
I'll probably add more later with an edit, haha.

I have a lot of hc but I'll try to keep it to 5:
1: The trains on the battle subway are run by the Klink line, they use magnetism to move the trains which is why the battle background is cave like to indicate a magnetic field.
2: Diglett cave is actually a giant Onix tunnel made long ago, but since Diglett and Dugtrio live there now people think they dug it out.
3: The Kalos region is part of a bigger unexplored continent, with Kiloude City being a place for Southeastern explorers to come back too. (Dendimelle Town being the Northeastern town for explorers)
4: The volcano on Cinnibar Island was made to erupt during the game, but Missingno is keeping it from erupting until after the Kanto Protagonist completes the game, which is why after you catch Missingno everything is glitched. (Because the protag gets caught up in the Eruption leading too an unfortunate fate. . . )
5: The Porygon phone in Pokemon Masters is made by Silph Co. while the Rotom phone was introduced through Devon Corp. (Bassically pokemon's version of Apple vs Android)

      @gluttonousgoddess 2 года назад +9

Eh, in canon iirc they use the energy differently. There's nothing saying they couldn't have banned using Mega Energy that way, or limited it to safe ones (Pokken allows some Megas, while other ones don't get new Megas, using the energy as super attacks instead).
Dynamax, Aeos, Z-moves, Synergy Bursts, it's all variations of the same energy or process of channeling energy. Evolution stones too (in the anime they show that Mega Stones are formed when Evolution Stones are mutated due to focusing Synergy, or Mega Energy, through them; this could also be similar to how Z Crystal's are formed, and may be how the Red and Blue and, in HG/SS, Jade Orbs work, as well as the Meteorite in the Delta Episode. The Dynamax Energy seems to be released by Eternamax, though the method is roughly the same, assuming one cannot use Synergy to Dynamax)

One more for the road. A lot of Allister's behavior is similar to other introverted children of his apparent age(12-14) on the autistic spectrum. The repetitive speech/movement. How awkward he is in social settings during his episode in Twilight Wings. He probably doesn't like looking other people in the eyes, which contributes to him wearing his mask. The fact that he startles so easily when around other people. And even the fact that he seems to understand Pokemon better than humans, and is more comfortable around the former.
When he first introduced himself, I personally had the impression that he keeps his voice quiet, especially because he is literally wearing a Shy Guy mask. This was confirmed in both the main anime and Twilight Wings.
When I realized this, it made him more adorable to me. (In a little brother way.) I'm high-functioning autistic and identify as an introvert. Fortunately, some people helped me come out of my shell throughout high school. It seems the player character does the same for Allister in Shield.

-Ash keeps coming back from death because he saw Ho-oh after a near death experience and was blessed by its Sacred Ash item
-Reason why Ash seemed to regress in Unova was because Unova is Pokemon World America and he was struggling with the language, which made it difficult to learn about the Pokemon without using the Pokedex
-Because he had a car, most of the time Gary is seen is during his victory lap with his cheerleaders and he only challenged the Viridian City Gym was because it is the supposed strongest gym in the region
-Brock gets depressed over Professor Ivy because he never stood a chance with her: she's a lesbian
-Since it's mentioned by N in the BW anime that 2 years before was when Team Plasma was at its peak of activity, this explains why Ash was able to find starters in the Johto, Hoenn, and Sinnoh region so easily
-Espeon and Umbreon are more common in Johto because it is less urbanized and people have to work together and befriend their Pokemon more. Leafeon and Glaceon are more common in Sinnoh due to how quickly the weather changes with the seasons. Sylveon is more common in Kalos because generations of breeding in a region filled with Fairy Types let fairy moves enter the gene pool and it adapted
-The reason you can find underleveled but fully evolved Pokemon in Alola is because or tourists and their radios playing that evolution forcing sound during the Lake of Rage incident
-The reason Mirage Island is so rare in-game is because it is hidden by a mirage itself and weather conditions have to be perfect for it to show up

I always get attached to NPCs in Pokémon so I have my own lore for many trainers. Here they are:
    1. This is sad but, my favourite gym leader is Falkner. In BW2 in world tournament he says something about his dad watching him from above, and many people interpret it that his dad is dead, but I always thought that he actualy left him, and Falkner belives that if he could be good enough, his dad will see. So the headcanon backstory of Falkner goes like this: Falkner was mainly rased by his mom who was some kind of pristess in Sprout Tower, and his parents wanted him to take her role when he grow up. When he was in his late teens his mother died, and his father was depressed and left him. He never truly known his dad so he only had the expectations his mother told him. He also can use a bow (just because he has arm bracers and prep blue haired anime girl vibe )
    2. I think Bede was born in Unova. Rose addopted him from unovian orfanage because taking an orfan would worm up his image, but he specificly traveled over sea for it because he was scared to accidently be conected to some disfuncional galarian familly. This headcanon oryginated because Bede’s theme has gen 5 vibe.

The issue with Arceus is it's absolutely a god, but being a creator god doesn't inherently give you omnipotence or complete control, and a lot of people seem to assume that it does for some reason. Just because the Abrahamic god is like that doesn't mean that's the case for everything. And yeah I know "omnipotent" is its ability in Conquest but it just gives it an improved dodge.

    • @gluttonousgoddess
      @gluttonousgoddess 2 года назад +4

It's entirely possible the ability was named by a human, who saw them dodge a lot and, combined with the whole creator god thing, assumed they were omnipotent.
It's also important to know omnipotent isn't all knowing, it's all powerful. To a mortal, any god could appear omnipotent.

Anyway here's my headcanon: Ingo actually does remember what happened before legends arceus, he's just blocking it out so that he doesn't miss his twin brother, friends or partner pokemon. He doesn't want to feel these negative emotions so instead of facing them head on, he tries to pretend that they aren't real. I mean look at his face in game. Is that the face of a man without any burdens? He looks like he's trying repress something and isn't tellng anybody so that they don't remind him, leading to them saying he "has amnesia"

I always wonder what younger Giovanni looked like, my head cannon is that Giovanni had the most rock bottom glow down after he had Silver or Giovanni looked like that from his childhood. Either way Game freak has two options, show a younger version of Giovanni in a newer Pokemon title or give us Silver's mom.
when thinking of " Younger Giovanni looks exactly like Silver."
I'll like to think after Silver seeing pictures of Giovanni in his youth and now, Silver low-key fears of looking like his dad.
In some images of Silver before the heart gold and soul silver remakes he was shown to have brown hair like Giovanni In the Anime. In conclusion Silver being the angst anime boy that he is dyed his hair red. ( probably had a death match between him and Maxie for the last red hair dye.)
Was Silver basically homeless through out the entirety of the Gold and Silver games?
Imagine Ingo coming back to Nimbasa city dressed like the way he is from legend of Arceus, only to know that he was only gone for a week.

Back then he thought it looked so cool and made him look super hot and mysterious, and Blue hated it. Red decided to dye his hair brown and cut it because he wanted to get out of his edgy teen phase (and also because Blue thought it would be funny).
I also like to think that the reason why Red and Blue went to Alola was because Blue slightly missed Red (no matter how much he wanted to deny it) and wanted him to get out of Mt Silver for once. There are multiple of each species of legendary Pokémon, but that they’re the offspring of the originals, which the legends are based on. In the case of Mewtwo, it’s instead that multiple people recreated the same process that creates Mewtwo from the surviving research from its original creators. The anime depicts a baby Lugia, which is the basis of this theory. In the case of Mewtwo, considering groups like Team Plasma created (what would be known as) Genesect, it didn’t seem too far fetched that they could create another Mewtwo.

I have a headcanon similar to the one about the pokedex being written by children. It an idea I came up with when I was feeling nostalgic for hgss. The idea is that the pokedex is a world wide project started by oak. Oak's dream is to catch all pokemon for his pokedex but it would nearly impossible for one person alone. So instead he convinces other regional professors to help him by having them hand out pokedexes that only show that region's pokemon to trainers. When he says you caught all pokemon, he referring to the regional dex and trainers that have proven themselves by completing the regional dex are allowed access to the national dex so that they may continue capturing pokemon if they continue their journey by heading to a new region. This is also the reason why dex entries are different from game to game, the national dex is constantly being updated by trainers and their research.

Guzma does not drink any alcohol whatsoever, it reminds him of his abusive father.
Flint is a very good listener.
Wallace's fashion design is based off the clothing of Ancient Sootopolian.
Volo is immortal, which he was granted after his first encounter with Giratina. His left eye is also like Giratina's eye, having a black sclera and red iris.

The head canon about Gloria being Scottish made me think about my own head canon regarding the Gen 8 protagonist's backgrounds.
My headcanon for Gloria is that they grew up helping their mum and Hop's family with raising the Wooloo, which caused her to have to develop a very assertive side to try to get the sheep to stay in their pens and not wander off. However, when she’s not in a bad mood, she's generally a pretty sweet individual who took up knitting using the Wooloo roll from her farm. Maybe even the outfit she wears is stuff she made herself, and she could’ve added the wool onto Hop's jacket as thanks for a favour or something.
As for Victor, I imagine that they actually didn’t grow up in Postwick. I headcanon them more as the kind of guy that grew up in a particularly well-off household He’s not exactly a snooty rich kid, but he has a tendency to forget what stuff is meant to be "expensive" by normal standards. Also, unlike Gloria, he's a bit of a pushover, and is pretty wispy-washy when it comes to life goals.
Taking the headcanon a bit further, I sometimes picture the idea that the two could even be cousins, with Victor being the younger of the two, causing Gloria to coddle him a bit. Maybe Victor's side of the family were the ones to help Leon originally become champion in the first place, and they became wealthy through that.

For the dex entries, I've always seen it as the professor is the one to make them. They already know of these pokemon (or else what have they been doing for a living). So as a way to get new kids to go out and have an adventure (and want to actually catch everything), they have really cool sounding "science" for each entry. It may not be accurate, but it will interest a child. So when they catch a pokemon, it gets scanned into the dex and that pre-made dex entry is unlocked. If they used accurate entries, a kid might get bored when their lava slug isn't really hot enough to melt your face. Big numbers sound cooler, so they exaggerate to keep the kid wanting to discover more.
I think the end of the Legends Arceus game does a great job of explaining Arceus as a god vs as a pokemon, but since you haven't played it, I won't spoil it.

My head canon is that Pokémon battling is less like ‘forcing animals to fight’ and more like ‘this is enrichment for them because if you don’t do something to help them release their abilities they could hurt themselves/ others’. Battling isn’t the only way for Pokémon to release their magical energy but it’s one of the more accessible options. This is why trainers exist, you are training them to control and hone their power. It’s a symbiotic relationship (in most cases, jerks exist unfortunately) it keeps the Pokémon and the public in general safe and also provides a way to get stronger.
(This headcanon is also why I refuse to enter the competitive scene. Having certain Pokémon be better battlers makes sense from a gameplay perspective but personally? I hate it. Pokémon are your friends and the game is constantly telling you this so I’m not discarding my buddy just cause his nature isn’t optimal for battles. No shade to the competitive scene, just not how I play)

Her teacher in school, or likely a private tutor, spoke with the same accent and she just picked it up because she heard it so much. similarly, one or both of her parents speak with the same accent, so she naturally speaks like that because she hears it the most, as people tend to spend more time at home than at school or work. my personal head canon is:
I think Unova and Alola region are one single region that separated at some point, here is my reason
    1. they mirrored each other
    - both Unova and Alola region were based of the United States, New York and Hawaii respectively
    - their lore ties in their mascot box art, which can be fused later in the next couple of games
    - N and Lillie are the key to unlock the Legendary Box Arts because of their relationship with the said Legends, while player of each region can obtain one of theirs as well, it is heavily implied that dating N in Ferris Wheel and dating Lillie in Exeguttor Island is NECESSARY to unlock said Legends
    - in their vanilla gameplay, both player are not battling their respective Champion of the region, and their companion (N & Lillie) actually left and gone after the credit rolls, not to mention these companions are having quite harsh life because they have an abusive parent (Ghetsis & Lusamine)
    speaking of N & Lillie
    2. N & Lillie are related, but not by blood
    - so many fans theorize that they are Pokémon in disguise, but in fact, no they aren't, they are pure human being
    - remember, Ghetsis adopted N prior to BW games, he was with wild Pokémon back then, I believe those Pokémon are actually belongs to the Aether Paradise during Mohn's era that was released back to the wild after their successful treatment
    - Ghetsis was actually a freelancer who work for the Aether Paradise, he dislike his client who always not giving him enough resources and incomes, so he betrayed and join together with the royal family of Unova to become one of the Sages
    - Ghetsis's other adopted children, Anthea and Concordia, which are N's real siblings in my head canon, are actually a member of Aether Paradise during that era as well, they were adopted by Ghetsis because of their ability that works well for his kingdom
    - Lillie came into contact with Nihilego at the same time as Mohn's disappearance, and I believe this is the work of Team Plasma to avenge the company, and Mohn is brainwashed and left behind in the Poképalego
    - Lusamine's obsession with Pokémon collection actually become the source of education by Ghetsis to teach N the lesson, that Pokémon should be freed from opression
    - Lusamine herself is actually quite arrogant and selfish, even before the disappearance of Mohn, and I believe Aether Paradise was build by her idea to contain a lot of Pokémon from different regions, in order to "preserve" them, but this idea is changed by Mohn to be more like Poképalego
    - things just getting worse with the appearance of the Ultra Beasts
    speaking of Ultra beast
    3. both Unova and Alola had contact with Ultra Beasts at one point
    - it is heavily implied that Team Plasma was on urge on something, that made themself created Genesect, a mass of them, and I believe this is to counteract the Ultra Beast that one appeared in Unova, same as how Aehter Foundation created 3 Type:Full to counteract the Ultra Beast, but failed as the result
    - Professor Brunet was working for Dream Radar project in Unova, and in this Dream Radar, player are actually low key travelled through a different dimension, and I believe this dimention is a paralel to the Ultra Wormhole, which is why she moved to Alola to observe these beast from their home region
    - not only Brunet, but Professor Fennel was actually working on Dream related project as well, that also made players to actually able to travel across dimension
    - the inspiration they made for the Pokéstar Studio films was actually from the Ultra Beasts, you can clearly see from their design perspectives
    - in Alola, we have the Tapus to protect the region from these threats, but what about Unova? we have the Swords of Justice, yes they hate humans, but it is also implied that they were training to fight something, and I believe it was to prepare to fight the UB
    - Colress involvement in both sequels answers it all
and since we are talking about sequels, last but not least
they are both involved in Time and Space respectively
    - Black & White 2 took place 3 years after, and Ultra Sun & Moon took place in alternate timeline where UB & human fusion didn't occurs
    - Caitlin, Frontier Brain from Sinnoh and Anabel, Frontier Brain from Hoenn made their return as an adult
    - Red appeared and can be challanged in those games

Pokemon Scarlet and Violet! The region kinda looks like a mix of Italy and Spain

For the Arceus one, I could see the Arceus we see in the games to merely be an avatar that the real Arceus uses to intreact with the world.

A headcanon that I have is that after fighting Chairman Rose and seeing Leon fail to catch Eternatus, he is on his last pokeball. He was likely using every type of pokeball he had. I choose to believe this because he wouldn't bring 1 pokeball and hope for the best, and that most people who play pokemon have likely experienced this as well, praying that the legendary stays in the ball

Headcanon #1: Ash and Red would have actually a wholesome friendship and do funny stuff together like trying to dig out a Diglett. Both would be unsuccessful but would laugh it out heartily. They would inspire each other's battle styles.
Headcanon #2: Snivy seems like the type who would try and get comfy with Ash just to trigger Bayleaf. Not out of malice but playfulness and gratitude over having a Trainer who chased after them both.
Headcanon #3: Dawn's Piplup, Ash's Oshawott, Clemont's Chespin and Serena's Pancham seem like the crew that would win over an island's Pokémon population in a PMD-like adventure.
Headcanon #4: Trainers in games refuse to accept flexibility in moves's usage in a bratty manner and you're forcefully complying to the rules. E.g: Hitting a flying target with Bonemerang.
Headcanon #5: Trainer's Pokémon levels, yours excluded, reflect their potential but also how seriously they take the fight. Lance's Dragonite being at level 40 means Lance is holding out on his opponents ; he's fighting as if his Dragonite was at this level.

My favorite headcanon is that every single character in Pokemon games is autistic. Shorts Kid can't do pants because of sensory reasons, a lot of trainers have special interests that result in single-type teams, protagonists tend to be nonverbal, every trainer has specific dialogue scripts, and battles never require a quick reaction time
