Dilute the flex seal with silicone and test if it when dry is maybe even more water proof and or maybe more flexible
You really build up to this question I got here.. You said that a tent would act as a sauna if you covered it with FlexSeal. So, HOW hot would a FlexSeal saunatent really be? That would be great to see!! 👍🤗🤗

Please flex seal a balloon with water inside! I am curious to see if the durability of the flex paint would crack the seal if it popped. Also maybe melted plastic or rubber would work better than flex paint (?)
they should make a diving wetsuit by combining different tight pieces of clothing then swimming and seeing if they are wet or not (gloves and socks should cover other pieces of end cloth

I used flex seal spray on the fingers and palms of some white ox canvas gloves, Not to make them water proof but to increase their overall resiliency and it worked better than I imagined.
Without the flex seal it was really easy to push a needle through the gloves, After the gloves absorbed the light spray of flex seal and cured it took way more force to push a needle through.
Normally these gloves fray or thin out with wear but with the flex seal the gloves won't continue to break apart once a tear or weakness is created.
Nothing makes me happier than an OG Nate and Callie video :) I'd love to see you test flex seal in liquid nitrogen, once frozen can it unfreeze and still seal?
How about Flex Seal and fruit or other foods to see how long they last, along with the freeze dryer?

Could you try some hunting overalls and try to make gaiters with them? You could also try and attach some sort of rain boot to the insulated overalls to try and make full waiters and not just waterproof overalls.
Great video. But please do: Coffee Brewed in Dishwasher, Coffee Brewed in Hot Tub, Coffee Brewed in Washing Machine, Bowling with Fruit by the Foot the balls and pins made of that stuff, and Homemade Flamethrower using pressure washer. Please do that.

You should Flex Seal a basketball, a football, and a baseball/softball. Then see how it affects the things you would do with each ball, such as dribbling, throwing, and hitting.
I used this to coat a mask i made for a costume. Worked really well

Wouldn't that actually be a dry suit? Wet suits trap a portion of water in the material where dry suits keep you dry.

Scotchgard will make fabric hydrophobic. I have used it for years on many outdoor items.. You guys should play with that stuff and see what neat things you can come up with.
I have been using products like this on the inside of cowboy and boonie hats, the underside of drover coat capes, etc. for years. At times supplementing oil/wax treatments. Works wonderfully.

Flex seal is great on the bottom of any fishing boat that has seams , my cousin has a 12 foot John boat & it has Riveted seams & after some years of great use it started leaking at the seams , so I told him to use flex seal & see what it does & it worked great , he used it inside & outside of the boat , he put it on pretty thick & you don’t even notice it because it’s the same color as his boat . Great stuff .

I took an old set of headphones that sounded great but the ear pads and cross bar pad had all the vinyl coating dry up and peel like crazy. For giggles I had a small can of white flex seal from a different project and coated the ear pads and head band. It actually came out great. Once it dried and the smell leached out they are awesome. pretty comfy and very grippy on my shaved head.
Please, oh please, make a flex-seal sauna tent. That sounds awesome!

News paper boat. Use thin piping for the shell. Wrap news paper around that, then coat with the flex seal. Just to see if it will float.
You reminded me of a movie I haven't thought of in almost 20 years.
If I was to cover my entire body in Flex Seal, would I sink like a rock or float up like a balloon underwater if I jumped into the ocean? All that water proofing has to count for something
I have a friend who has holes in his fishing and hunting waders. He tried to flex seal it and it didnt work.
I can easily see why that wouldn't work...
Both neoprene and Gortex would provide a sort of impedance mismatch with flex seal.
He could try using rubber cement around the edges of the holes, then sealing them with flex seal.

How about trying it on something/anything to test the strength before and after the coating. For example. if you had a hydraulic press that can calibrate the pound force to crush whatever, then coat another and retry. I thought about using it for model rocket fins for extra strength.

Nate already showed us before they went outside. All the wrinkles and seams would gradually tear, opening the clothing to the elements. Flex seal is made to flex, but not really made to go on flexible things.
Hm, it gets still and doesn't stick to the plastic... Now I feel like painting balloons or something and then pull them out when it's dry, but I can't think of a way to to that that's worth a TKoR video... hmmm

Get a new pot and hot glue sticks melt the sticks down in the new pot then cover a shirt in it
You could try to make a kite or a tent with the flex seal by constructing a frame and coating the inside till you have a fabric like material.
Flex sealed tents work wonderful in the winter as long as there is one window that can be opened

Due to the intricate texture, I would have thought the boots would have been more suitable to be sprayed instead of painted or dipped to be water-proofed. If you have more of the spray version and other pair of boots, I would like to see of that is waterproof.
