- Welcome to the third vlog from our recent "Christmastime on the Rhine" adventure with TUI.
This was our first River Cruise and we joined the TUI Maya in Frankfurt, Germany.This five night cruise saw us visiting some of the BEST Christmas Markets in Europe as we sailed down the Rhine River into France and back.
This is the final (and very overdue) video of our series, and includes our time visiting Breisach and Mannheim onboard the TUI Maya. We also tried out the onboard spa area, spent an evening enjoying the entertainment and suffered for it the following day... whoops!

Where was Christmas?! Shame about that little disappointment but everything else looked wonderful and I absolutely loved the fancy napkins at the dinner, don’t you two scrub up well?! 🥰
I agree, that Pikachu hat was so fun! However now that I'm home and having a good declutter I'm glad he didn't get it, somehow I don't see him wearing it here in the village whilst popping to the shops 🤣🤣
Breisach was a major let down and we wanted to be honest so other people might have chance to plan around it. We still had a great time overall though 🥰🥰🥰

Love watching you guys. I sense you feel guilty about the wine, I get it, but you are on holiday, so don't fret.
Also, surely everyone of a certain age learnt outside in from pretty woman, right? Lol
Hahahaha I think we felt a little worse for wear and guilty for not making the most of the day, but we managed to recover and still had a great time! I'm just glad we weren't on the all inclusive drinks package else we might have never left the ship 🤣🤣
Surprisingly Dave says he isn't a big Pretty Woman fan, although I don't know if I believe him 😜 "Big Mistake. Huge Mistake!"

Awwww thank you 😊😊😊 Happy New Year to you also! We don't very often have reason to get dressed up and not something we would want to do all the time but it was fun as a one off!
Plenty for us to look forward to (and vlog) in 2024, including this weekend when we are headed to Center Parcs Longleat 🌲🦌 also a cruise and a return to Orlando later in the year, feels so exciting just being able to say "this year" 🤩

Hahaha well it's a lot late because it took me soooo long to finally edit and upload this final video 🙈 would we do it again? Yes, I think so! There are somethings that we prefer with bigger cruising but getting to have such personal service onboard was great. We are eyeing up a Nile river cruise for the future, maybe 🐪
What time of the year did you go? Early, mid, or late Dec? Would you recommend another Tui Christmas River Cruise itinerary or stick with this one?
Hey 👋 We did our cruise from the very end of November into December, which I believe was the first cruise of the Xmas market season. It was great, but then I love Xmas and getting into the festive mood was perfect.
One port was disappointing but overall we really enjoyed this itinerary and Strasbourg was a definite must do!
