My wife and I enjoyed this video. You guys did a great job of eating some of the tasty treats of Maine. We live here on the Schoodic Peninsula and it was great to see all the sites in our “neighborhood” captured during such great weather. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you for sharing the time of year you visited and what the weather was like. Great video! Look forward to trying some of the restaurants you recommend.
You guys did such a great job giving all the good details from your Maine trip. We know where we want to stop when we’re there now! Just a suggestion, when you film your meals, folks probably don’t want to see up close videos of your mouths while you eat 😝
I'm a native Mainer. I've seen a lot of uploaded videos of Maine and the coast of Maine. And yours is the first one i'm commenting on. I'd like that you two got your Mainer food fix and fulfilled Some great main traditions.. But I also like that you focused on the little things You got on tape even while you were riding. Thank you both for sharing this video, It's the 1st one that's made me miss Maine. More due to being restricted restricted to florida do to some health conditions/treatment. Please come back when y'all can. The coast is my favorite of maine but a close second Place in my heart is the rangely lake area in rangely maine. C*** magomic lake and ragged lake just to name a couple of lakes the size of small oceans and are deep as well (300 ft plus). The cool thing is That many of these lakes do not have one building on them. You carry out what you carry in. One of my trips up there. I got to meet a native manner that was ninety two years old any others companion dog named freckles. She was a spotted terrier and the stories the men had were incredible. When I asked him how long he had been there as I noticed his camp was well seasoned, He Tilted his head back and looked up at the stars and said oh it was roughly 5 or 6 years ago ( as I expected the answer to be in days or weeks). KEY WORDS ; Ragged lake, c*** magnetic lake, " the golden road " And rangely lakes at the town of Rangely Maine. And if it's the ocean that you guys really like Then you've gotta check out harp swell maine And see the 1 of Is a kind bridge.
Nice video. We are hoping to head back up to Acadia again this October. Will definitely give the Travelin Lobster a try this year. Whoppie pies are great however we call those Gobbs in Pittsburgh. Funny story we walked into the Pink Pastry in Bar Harbor asking the baker for a Gobb and she started laughing and said you have to be from Pittsburgh, that's where I grew up.
Going back home to Maine with my wife 2nd week of October, which is usually the best time to be in southern Maine for fall foliage, as well as mid coast Maine, Acadia National Park, Bar Harbor! North Conway, N. H., White Mountains also! Grew up in Portland, Maine, miss it, live in Texas, have for many years, came here for job transfer, like Texas, but no place like Maine, great place to grow up!

First week of October. If traveling in mid-October check ahead of time with places to see what is still open. 👍🏼
