    You needed new pistons because the cylinder walls needed to honed out?

      Yes, the hone was greater than original pistons would compensate for. Some of the cylinders were slightly out of round.

      @@hansgarage1751 I went back to your 924 Turbo disassembly day 1 video. I don't think you mention the mileage on the car? How many miles are on it? Any indication why it had low compression? Just worn out?

      @@BigFish246 mileage is 94461 and I don't think that's flipped over. One owner before me. At some point it was modified by Andial Porsche with boost and oil temp gauges. Also had water injection. I suspect the low compression was due to tired rings and valves. This car sat in a garage parking lot for many years.
