I can’t find an answer anywhere, but how do you put the cart into “manual” mode in the case you want or have to push it? Do you just turn it off or is there a toggle somewhere?

no cannot push --the gears will still be engaged--you have to set the wheels (easily done altho Ive never done it) so they free wheel--somewhere on the MGI site they should show it

I have the same MGI ZIP NAVIGATOR AT.
It had automatic down hill assist. Meaning when you are going down hill, it will detect that and automatically slow down.
You can also control without the remote by pressing the button on the handle bars.
I have recorded over 550 miles in just 2 years of oownership.

@@ronwatts9634 I dont use the handle bar control at all--I didnt know about the downhill speed detect--will have to try later today
only issue I have is the grinding noise Im getting on left wheel-but I did put it into water-- -and have taken apart 5 times to try and fix--
I dont see the noise as a major issue-but will buy a ne wgearbox if need be--over all its a game changer for me--and love the simple setup
was out with a buddy who has a V2 --and the setup much more involved--

There’s a button on each rear wheel (same button you use to remove the wheels from the axle), press and hold the button and move the wheel slightly away from the centreline and release the button, do the same thing on each side. In this position the wheels are freewheeling and you can push the buggy.

How is the tracking? Does it stay straight or tend to veer?

Tracks great --even when you go over something that throws off course --it corrects -pretty sure others track well also- see just about 5 minutes into video---a lot of guys here going for the V2 about half the price of MGI--but i love and need one that compacts well -those guys have pickup trucks----this has been a great purchase for me--even tho I drove it into water a couyple weeks later--and now have a grinding noise--I still love it and the battery connection is slick--but a few other good ones to choose from--I did the investigation and MGI AT was at top of list for hilly terrain--
either way if youve been pushing a cart--these are game changers !! good luck steve

Taking on tee top is causing unnecessary compaction and is poor etiquette.
