    Grape cuttings, if you have last year's growth that is 25 cm long or longer, you can start new vines by putting the cuttings in sand/soil in a bucket, kept moist. Just be sure the cuttings are planted with buds pointing toward sun. I grew many doing this, especially in spring..

    I showed your new black and white cat with spots on the back and the head. We couldn’t believe our lost “Bella” had found a new home in Spain. We live in Florida. Simply identical and as gorgeous as her. I miss her dearly. After she vanished we had two strays who gave birth in our porch from which we ended up adopting 4 cats! That’s crazy!
    I been following you guys for almost two months and I have seen most of your videos. Santi is adorable and getting so big! Dios los siga bendiciendo! ❤

    Making a lot of progress, excellent! I imagine not having to divide your attention between two properties will be a big help. The tree on the right in the first scene at the table looks like a Casuarina, and if so has made it a long way from home. They sound wonderful in the wind.

    Very good progress. I'm a retired furniture maker so moving furniture not a problem Harriet wardrobes look at the back it should unscrew the top and bottom should also unscrew. If this doesn't work place a large blanket on the floor then place wardrobe or sofa on it pick up 2 corners each and lift your knuckles will now be out of the way in front of you and not scraping the walls take it up vertical. You can stand at the front and coming up behind so the height is similar. I do hope this helps I wish both well in the future yours David

    Looks great! Just a thought that you may want to anchor down your shed depending on the winds you get and how exposed it gets during violent storms. (Little concrete piers in the ground with drilled bit anchors into them attached to the wall work well). The IBC on the side and the wall behind is good but it may not be enough to keep it strong and sturdy. That's something we learned the hard way but is easily done as a prevention.

    • @LittleSpanishFarmstead
      @LittleSpanishFarmstead  2 года назад +1

      Thank you! Yes we need to do a floor and insulation in the shed. Hopefully no string winds before then! 🤞

    Wow, Harriet .....so much progress on the property. I am looking forward to spring also on my end of the world which is Ontario Canada. This winter has been so long and super cold in the minus 20s. I can't wait for spring. This week I am starting my seeds indoors. I hope it will be warm enough soon so I can put them in the greenhouse so we can get an early cold weather crop of greens to eat . I miss my fresh organic homegrown greens. Prices in the stores have gone up so much for organic produce. I am longing for summer and the growing season LOL. Take Care.

    I love organic dark chocolate too! Might you consider a small tractor to help move things around? There might be electric vehicles so you could avoid fossil fuels. You can move items like the shed by rolling them on logs.

    • @LittleSpanishFarmstead
      @LittleSpanishFarmstead  2 года назад +1

    Hola chicos,
    Nosotros hemos tenido q reemplazar las baterías de nuestro sistema fotovoltaico, entre otras cosas, porque sufrían mucho con el frío.. Intenten que la temperatura del sitio donde las tengan no baje de 15 grados.. Es difícil pero a lo mejor aislando bien el cobertizo y no poniéndolas directamente sobre el suelo frío..
    Mucha suerte y abrazo desde Canarias..
