Congratulations, reminds me of a scene from the Back to the future 1, when Marty power's up a huuuge guitar amplifier in Doc's lab.. Just in your case it didn't went out with big bang... Brilliant setup. We must just wait for the perfect storm, and watch your live offgrid broadcasting 🤗👍 Best regards.
Who needs a PowerWall when you have a whole PowerBasement? :P One thought though, as you've been adding DIN-rail breakers & whatnot, how come you didn't update your 'central' to the same (us Brits call that the fusebox, or Distribution board if you're posh or an electrician!)? Would have made it all look nice and modern then, them fuses just look so odd amongst the new boxes and that Smartmeter...
Cause if it aint broke, dont fix it haha! But in all seriousness he has spoken before about the wiring in the house becoming old and brittle so its probably best to leave that side of things alone until your ready to undertake a complete house rewire. Plus i don't know about where he is at, but where i live, if you start changing certain parts of the system like the distribution panel then the whole house has to be brought up to code. The "grandfathered in" rule no longer applies.
I don't know if the code allows it over there, but here in Spain we install "SI" class RCCBs when there's a lot of switching noise present. I had to install one because way too many computers, and it fixed all my false-tripping issues. Maybe installing one of those (or whatever your local equivalent is) would allow you to remove the PE-N jumper.
sadly you cant run a grinder when you have a rcd as the motors are low resistance causing false tripping and you cant run some 3 phase equipment as they use ground instead of neutral as the "neutral" is connected to the metal casing so they use earth/ground instead for safety and they cant be used with neutral due to the motors having shared casing and winding connection
I'm really not sure what sort of gear you've had experience with, but they're definitely not common problems in Finland. ALL outlets for general use have to be behind a RCD, with no exceptions, and people run grinders and 3-phase machines just fine. I don't think I've ever seen any sort of motor with a shared case/winding connection here, if they exist, they haven't been legal for something like 70 years.
@@FFcossag the shared casing machines have been used in industrial and farm applications in the 80s and are mainly 3 phase equipment and they were never common and the ones that existed have been phased out for safer designs due to farmers getting electrocuted when the equipment had a ground fault. I think the rcd i have is a too sensitive Piece of S*it that hager manufactured. I need to get someone with more experience than me and up to date permits/certs to do electrical work to look at my distribution panel and electrical connections as if there is a bad connection in my panel that could be one reason for tripping when trying to run any of my grinders on any of my 10 or 16 amp circuits. and if anyone asks no i havent nor will i ever open the 3 phase distibution panel myself as my SFS 6002 cert expired 2 years ago and my insurance wouldn cover it if my house burnt down and even if the cert wasnt expired i wouln't be allowed to test and certify my own installations in my own house.
Congratulations! Two owners of electric power companies put dislikes on this video. It is mark, you do right thing! :)
Well done, fella.
Next week, the solar panels...
There are RCD/GFI for VFDs specially made Type F, they are also a bit cheaper than Type B.
Thanks for the tip, but it's a non-issue since the heat pump isn't connected to an outlet, so it doesn't have to be GFI protected.
Congratulations,

Hehe, thanks. Sadly, I have longer back-up time than the network gear hooking me up to the internet now, most of their gear runs flat in a day or so!

As Wiresgalore explained, I'd have to rewire the entire house to modern code if I did that. It's just not economical at the moment.

It's not a problem in the final configuration.
Really nice
Thanks.
Come up well

I think when your main consumer units look like that your regulators have more important things to do that worry about GFIs
They can't just illegalize old buildings, that would not float. New construction does not look like this, obviously.
I never had managed to use my fingers on the wires without getting shocked. I am amazed how many wires are used do you eat wires?
I eat wires.

Is that the standard for Bangladesh?
YOU NEVER HOOK UP A HEAT PUMP TO A SAFETY SWITCH, RCD OR GFI. WHY DON'T U REPLACE THAT OLD DINOSAUR OF A fuse box ANYWAY?
Because it would be prohibitively expensive since I'd have to rewire the entire house to be up to modern code.
BTW in-animate objects can never be happy or sad.... what is wrong with u millennials???? ffs.
Ok boomer.
