My early life was troubled with dark times but now that I am in my thirtieth decade I am very intelligent, knowledgeable and dare I say very wise for my age. People can not take it when you're high on life. When you look after yourself & you are happy despite any setbacks, challenges or trauma you have been through. Their actions tell you exactly what they are about. I keep to myself. People have had issues with me at various places I've worked for no apparent reason. I dont last more than 6 months in a job, as i end up leaving as I get jealous coworkers and managers trying to sabotage me. I have been single for a few years after getting rid of a narc ex husband. men seem to be very jealous & hate me or the ones that do like me are scared to approach. I have no friends. I dont force anything and i'm still happy.
It does seem like there is far more to our world than meets the eye. Yet we are told not to question things. The funny thing is, we should be questioning that as well.
100% true. But how do you effectively deal with it? I run into so many jealous bitter spiteful people. Their hate infringes on my life. Damaging my property. Being coy pretending or using an excuse when their real motive is to ruin your life.
Narc Survivor I have taken accountability for what I had allowed the Narcissist to do to me and I will forever hold the Narcissist accountable for their actions because the mistreatment was intentional, calculated and premeditated and they didn't care about my humanity, life or how it was going to make me feel or the impact it was going to have on my emotional, physical, psychological well being it wasn't a concern to them. I was manipulated, tricked and deceived and blamed for things that I didn't do wrong! I am not leaving anyone if they are choosing to stay behind. I have come to the conclusion the Narcissist is unwilling to grow, develop and become a better person and wants to continue to be abusive, destructive, fake, disloyal and lazy and not self reflect about the type of person they are choosing to be! If you can't learn to value or appreciate then stay away from me because I will never accept a one sided relationship because I know that isn't what I deserve. I remember the damaging effects of Narcissistic abuse and the impact it had on my life and what it did to my mind, body, spirit and heart! Evil doesn't deserve forgiveness and I will never forgive a evil person that is unwilling to own up to their part in harming me! The Narcissist expected me to treat them respectfully whilst they were mistreating me and they know they wouldn't handle it if I mistreated them! Make that make sense. I am not willing to treat them with kindness and respect because they don't see me as their equal! They deserve everything bad because they chose to become a EVIL person!They hate me and it was evident in their actions. The bible says do unto others as you would want them to do to you. They
were a hypocrite! My message to Narc Survivors take action against Narcissistic abuse because it is a crime against humanity! It is UNFORGIVABLE. I have told the truth. This is how I feel.

It is sick and I think a true Mental Illness. They will deny deny deny until last breath and lie and cheat I have been through the exact same experience you have described I have been married to a Narcissist for 38 years because I had no where to go I have fought like a “warrior” and fought like “Wonder Woman”. These nefarious people looking for your attention wanting a reaction ... you can't take a stoic approach. Sometimes it may work when you're dealing with somewhat normal people but MOST of the time you have to go all the way to filing charges and lawsuits for harassment and nuisance. One cannot interfere with the enjoyment of one's life and property.
BUT all that costs money. The laws need to change. No one should be allowed to harass intimidate or infringe in any way physical or psychological another person especially when they are higher up on the social economical ladder.
Well said!! I have experienced the exact same thing in several different work places. I endured verbal and psychological harassment and they know they can’t physically touch you because you can charge them with “assault”. I moved on and guess what I found out through the “grapevine” 1:32:40 - - the person was asked to step down from the position so basically they were “fired” and let go! How is that for Karma!! I was laughing with joy because they truly got what they deserved Peace to you my Friend!
I'm a dude who has been cyber-hacked by family siblings for a decade and the laws don't do anything. (Unless I go to the FBI and I'm just about to, because it's a federal crime to hack someone's phone across state lines in America)
PS--Main point, your description of "using the stoic approach" not being useful by some point. Agreed! I used to be scared of typing things, afraid that it would be giving them "narcissistic supply" or whatever.
But those days have come to a close. Because gray rocking, etc. is just not keeping them off my back anymore.
So much preaching about not giving them the bait and all that stuff. I tried that. It didn't work for me. It's time for me to do what people like you are doing now

I believe that since narcissism is a mental illness, many are predisposed genetically. It's just like bipolar disorder that can show up because a parent has it. Some people are just predisposed, in my opinion.
The problem with that mentality is that will just be medically excusing these abusers for something they supposedly can't help. Evil is a choice!
