Hello, im a Hongkonger from Hong Kong. Yes, I did not realize my home ate that much meat. But somehow when you classified Hong Kong as a country, however it is not. During July 1st 1997, British Hong Kong as a Colony, it was returned to the People's Republic of China as a Special Administrative Region (SAR). So to fix your clarification, You should say: Finally Number 1, Hong Kong, Which is a Special Administrative Region.
I visited Hong Kong multiple times and huh not even close to eat that much amount of meat lol. If anything they consume lots more seafood , lots more veggies , and lots of carbs (bread , rice rolls , noodles , rice , etc)
At least that stereotype about Americans can stay alive! Also, Germany even not on that list? I mean, we have (stolen) Schnitzel and Cordon Bleu and other meaty stuff!
mongolia is kind of expected since most of them still have a nomadic lifestyle, meaning that they mostly eat meat and stuff mongolia also has unfit soil for agriculture, only about 1% of soil is good for it
Wow!! 😮 That’s crazy! I didn’t know Hong Kong people ate so much meat! I’m vegan, and I live in the United States of America. I still do want to go to Hong Kong someday. I’ll still find vegan options there, and I’ll do Kung Fu there. 😊
Mongolian cuisine is heavily based on meat, particularly red meat, and the rest is mostly dairy products. Mongolian soil isn't suited for agriculture and offers very little forage so the people living there practice nomadic pastoralism and are hunter-herdsmen. So not surprised they up here. I was expecting China to be on here one way or another but cause we have so much people in per capita we won't make the cut.
The end lol😂
