"If Hell is forever, then Heaven must be a lie. If Angels can do whatever, and remain in the sky. The rules are shades of gray when you don't do as you say. When you make the wretched suffer just to kill them again." WOW THAT HITS HARD.
@@rachelpolanski989 And to add salt to the wound, Emily's a Young Angel who understands the difference between right and wrong more than Sera. Sera should be embarrassed
I love that Emily's heart and halo eyes open when she's excited or angry, and that they're so blue and violet. If Emily's yelling at you with all four eyes wide open, you know you've messed up, and she sees it.
I noticed that Adam is visibly seething with rage during "if hell is forever than heaven's a lie, if angels can do whatever and remain in the sky." Adam honestly thinks he's never done anything wrong....and she basically said that he's a sinner himself and that him being heaven is proof that heaven's rules are bullshit. Lute is also angry. Honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if Vaggie ends up taking her eye out in the season finale. Nice karmic justice
I'm honestly super hyped to see a possible charlie vs Adam fight in the future. I feel like they're really setting it up. In episode 1, he made her so mad she started using her powers. And on this song, when Adam says he can't wait to exterminate her, she is turning into her demonic form again
I really do think that, if I remember right, they never show Adam eating the fruit in the start of the show I genuinely think Adam might not known right from wrong and is just being pointed in different directions to do stuff
I think Adam is allowed to do anything he wants just because he hosts exterminations and keeps them secret (Since exterminations are considered a needed thing).
One thought I had is this: If you die believing you never did anything wrong, you go to Heaven. If you die even subconsciously believing you deserve some form of punishment, you go to Hell. Adam made it to Heaven cuz he genuinely believed he never did anything wrong, or redeemed himself for whatever he DID do wrong. That's not because he DIDN'T do anything wrong, he's just that self-aggrandizing and egotistical.
It's likely a nod to Heaven's hypocrisy because isn't what every soul wants to be saved to go heaven? And considering what Heaven did, does anyone think that they have been tricked?
Adam and Lute's small section is by far my favourite part of the song. It has such good flow and the Hell is Forever guitar kicking in as soon as she starts speaking is just peak.
Fun fact, Lute’s VA Jessica Vosk has said her favourite line is the “he blew his chances like the cawks in his mouth” she’s a professional broadway actress who has played Elpheba in Wicked so being able to take such a different kind of villain role with such lines is something she quite enjoyed and allowed her a lot more range.
Charlie has now gained an ally in Emily. Glad they’re seeing right through the deceptions made in Heaven. Adam isn’t just an obnoxious hypocrite, but for him to now declare extermination by starting with her hotel? It’s pretty obvious why hers first. It’s very likely out of spite because her mother Lilith rejected his ways in favor of Lucifer. It’s a pathetic vendetta.
Seriously ? Sera took that kinda of decision without the consent of the emi (another seraphim) and the rest of the high angels that were there She shouldn’t be able to do this kinda of thing would punishment
It's implied that the exterminations were not approved and that Sera, Adam and Lute are essentially acting rogue and imposing their own will onto matters.
you have to imagine what's going on nowthat's out of the bag... hoooo boy people are going to be PISSED since all of them likely have family in hell... there seriously could be riots going on in heaven right now when people find out that their family has been brutally murdered by their own
@@unusualusername8847 Sera had actually approved of the exterminations, albeit reluctantly though she wanted it to be kept a secret. Her reasoning for approving of the exterminations was because she believed that Hell would raise up against Heaven at some point, not to mention the overpopulation of Hell due to it's Sinners. That was shown earlier in the episode in addition to that while she approved of the exterminations, she still doesn't agree with Adam's attitude regarding them Yeah Sera and Adam ARE essentially acting rogue when it comes to the exterminations, but Sera's reasoning seems to be that she wants to be the only one shouldering the responsibility and burden for making such a choice. As you can see for yourself that when the exterminations was exposed, all the Angels were horrified by them
Adam promised Vaggie that she could return to heaven if she sabotages Charlie, and mind you this is the same guy that literally ripped her wings off just because she showed mercy to a child demon. Who's to say that Adam would actually keep that promise let alone backstab her again.
He said for her to work for him again and sabotage Charlie in exchange for keeping her secret. I don't think he was offering her to come back to Heaven, even if he did she seems to love Charlie more than the place.
@@Sweet_Venom0027 Thats right, he only said he will keep it a secret. Adam is an asshole and uses everything he can to be in a better spot or have the upper hand. And in this song all can see, he does not even care what he says and how. He is not even different from evil hellspawns.
I think in the final fight Emily will go to God and he will be the one to stop Adam and Lute and condemn them to become sinners and have to repent at the hotel to return to heaven. Because in this episode, it is said that no one knows what determines whether a soul goes to heaven or hell, only that it passes a divine judgment which confirms that God is indeed in the series. This would be the best way to introduce it and a perfect punishment for Adam and Luth convinced that redemption is impossible. And also maybe the archangels because I really think they will be because Lucifer has 6 wings like the seraphim but he is clearly not one after seeing Sera and Emily the most logical thing is that he is a archangel and therefore that there would be others like Michael
