I have a Caline CP-05 which is great. However I have two digital pedals that use too much current so I plan to "sideways" upgrade to the Donner DP-2 to power my entire board. I've never seen a RUclips video that tests this scenario until today, and now I know the noise will be present, but to me, it is an acceptable level! Thanks for the vid!
There are no dangers to using non-isolated as long as you are using the correct current and voltages, just more noise. The noise gate will cut the signal when you are not playing any notes which should reduce noise in most cases, but as you play notes the noise gate will basically "turn off". I only use noise gates while using high gain pedals but it could work in your situation.
SanJune, it isn't available anymore but here is a link for more details: www.amazon.com/SanJune-Guitar-Outputs-Isolated-Adjustable/dp/B07WQLGPGH Let us know if you find it elsewhere bc I would love to buy another one! There is a new version but I do not have any experience with it and the price is a lot higher.
This video is hidden gem for beginners who want to create a pedalboard. Thanks
Glad it was helpful!
Same, I saw pressure to buy the expensive ones. But I'm just a bedroom player and I don't turn on more than 2 pedals at once.

If you did not experience noise with the CP-05 than the DP-2 should serve you well! Glad it was helpful!
are there any danger on pedals if you use non-isolated? will the noise gate lessen the ground noise on non-isolated ps? thanks,
