I think the opinion of Calgary downtown core's llack of entertainment is becoming more a myth of the path. Suggest you explore it out again. Regarding transit, I wouldn't say it doesn't reach everywhere (which I find a very untrue statement) but more the fact of how very very slow it is due to low bus frequencies, their lack of connection outside the core c-train line, and no overnight service.
Hi Ronald, thank you for taking the time to watch and comment I always appreciate other people's opinions. Living in the downtown core for many years I do frequently visit the area. I do agree with you there is plenty of entertainment, I was eluding to the lack of actual clubs or places to go dancing, Calgary has much fewer options than other cities of similar size. For the transit, I was referring to the C-train line in particular. While I am grateful to have the public transportation options we do have our rail system is much smaller than other major cities around the world.
I’ve lived in 4 European cities, one American and one middle eastern. Calgary without a doubt is the worst. Transit terrible. People unfriendly and insular. It takes forever to get anywhere by car. It’s not a walkable city at all. Terrible food, highways, entertainment. Seven months of winter. Horrible architecture and woke as Toronto or Vancouver.
