It's not the song that's depressing, it's some of these people's reactions. They are afraid of sadness, sentimentality, feelings, emotions..

I'm a Lithuanian. I don't listen to Lithuanian songs. BUT. I like this song by how it touches me. And her voice is angelic so..FIGHTING IEVA! good luck Lithuania!

Eurovision Hub reactors is a fan of upbeat music. When it's slow and emotional it's a complete trash. Come on not all song is all about rhythm and fastbeats. And eurovision has always have a room for songs like this. I hope this qualifies. Goodluck Lithuania.

Just because people don't like this song, doesn't mean they hate all or most slow songs. I personally just find this song underwhelming regardless of the genre. Whatever pace/style you go for when writing a song, I feel the same rules apply, the song NEEDS to progress somewhere!! This song would have so much more impact if there was more contrast between the soft sweet parts and then strong emotional choruses. I feel the same way about Slovenia and Croatia, both are very different styles and genres to this one but none of them go anywhere and that's their weakness!

I love this song. It is a beautiful slow song. The lyrics are great and the message is very important. I hope it will hold among all the big and theatrical songs, it deserves a place in the final.

Knowing how Eurovision is a big event, like a one huge party, everyone expects all the songs to be upbeat and fast paced. I guess that is why most of the reactions in this video assumed the song is too slow. However, calling it boring is kind of unprofessional and just shows that you don't pay any attention to anything else but the tempo.
IMO, songs like this one is a breath of fresh air in between all those upbeat high tempo pop songs with no deeper meaning in the lyrics.

Lithuanian here, I always supported slow songs, that show off more vocals, because it's just so easy to fill the stage with props and dancers ,people got used to that in eurovision and now they don't know any other ways to fill the void beside catchy, upbeat songs. Everyone so in a rush nowadays that it's hard to stop stand still and listen. Some singers try to fake their way into the love song theme, yet mostly miss the point. What's important is the true feeling either it was happiness, anger or sadness they will all come through to the listener, because it's true and relatable. What the winner from last year did was amazing he shined with his true feelings and set a higher ground for upcoming eurovision and that music is feeling.

the song is extremely beautiful , artistic and moving!! Moving , inspiring and elevating people should be the purpose of art. Some of those comments coming from emotionally closed off people like "boring" "too slow" etc... is coming from their inability to connect ...They are the ones who need this type of art the most :)

I wasn't know when I first time I heard this song on the radio that this song taking part in a Eurovision Song Contest! I was actually quite surprised when I new that. I wasn't expecting to hear from Eurovision Song Contest, something beautiful like that.

Maybe is because partly I’m a cancer and this song touches me in another way but I believe people following a pandemic reacting to this on this video would have changed their minds listening to this now. It’s not always about bellowing out notes as one was saying here and there in order to feel something. Just listen and feel the beat with the words behind it. and her performance on Eurovision was awesome. Much love Leva ❤️
