Who at frontier thought it'd be a good idea to limit it to 2 cars
I can understand it for the specific coaster this is modelled after, but hopefully they allow for more cars I. The future:)

Idk about specific coaster but this model can have at least four cars ex. Abysuss and formula at energylandia

This one is based off of a specific Vekoma launch model called the “Top Gun” model like he said. It’s clone model with short, Jet Fighter style trains like these. Literally all the other Vekoma launch models are pretty bare bones with long, basic looking Vekoma trains. This is the only model that’s hyper-specific and I don’t know why they chose it.
I hate that they were like “we added scenery to trains!!” Just to theme every new coaster to look exactly like an existing ride. Give us box trains on everything!

Not everyone wants to spend 2 hours detailing a train that looks like a plain box on the surface
@@Fazcoasters doesn’t mean the train has to be themed to a rocket ship and limited to 2 cars or look exactly like the existing ride.
they just announced that neutral coaster trains are coming in the future

Frontier has made some absolutely killer decision (e.g. pathing tool) but making "customizable trains" one of the main marketing points to then introduce this new coaster with a 2-car limit and a very specific design seems like they thought "Oh let's just add it because we can and not care about the marketed features anymore"... Honestly that's probably the most ridiculous controversy I have about the game.
Yeah they have! I do expect these to be changed with patches soon though, they just told everyone that more blank trains are on their way soon too :)
6:06 Just so you know, a "donwards immelman" is called a dive loop. Great video, I'm loving the use of the scenery brush! Especially for me, a person that mainly builds coasters without theme parks and queues around them because I enjoy that the most, it'll be very useful to make the coaster look nice without taking too much time!

Really hope they allow Interchangeable Coaster Trains like PC1 again, easily my number 1 request for this game currently

The good news about all of the content creators getting their hands on the game early is that Frontier is being FLOODED with QA feedback (which should be done well before it gets to us but that's another issue entirely).
It comes in 3 days, i highly doubt they will change much

you can change the friction but its in the general settings instead of the coaster menu now, you cant set it individually
Vekoma Top Gun Models only have 2 Cars in real life, there are only two of these models which are both in China
@@JamesAnderson-d9g oh I though it was similar to the vekoma bermudas with longer trains
@@JamesAnderson-d9g the in game model has lift hills and top guns don't though, so it's not strictly based on the top gun
I assume these will be fixed. I mean it is realistic to the specific topgun model, but we should be able to change the car length it doesn't make sense for us not to be able to :)
9:25 you CAN set the friction settings for coasters in the (general) settings menu, its kinda weird how you cant change it in the coaster menu anymore and cant set it individually
They made a ton of dumb changes like this, but I’m probably going to put another 2k hours on it
Yeah I've seen this now, just wish it was on a coaster by coaster basis instead :)
@@CorvusCoasters same. That way we don't have the issue of a great running Eurofighter with lower friction and a hyper coaster that goes ham in the same park.

I remember when the gci trains had a limit of 10 or 11 and people just wanted to build realistic flyer trains. Frontier listened on that one so I think they'll adjust the car limit eventually

I'm pretty sure there is custom supports in this game. I can't remember who it was but they were going through scenery and found them.
There are logflume supports but they're not under the coaster supports page, hopefully more will be added soon :)
20:50 - Yeah hardness is how feathered the edge of the brush is. So if it's soft, it blends from being full intensity in the center to 0 intensity at the edge. and then hard would be full intensity from the center to the edge.

I'm still excited for this game, I'm just hopeful that some of the things mentioned in this video do change (like the ability to choose weather, and especially custom supproting, idk why on earth that isn't a feature). This coaster was amazing though! Excited to see new builds from you.

In fairness, the short trains here make it for a perfect roller coaster for realistic small park/boardwalk type theme parks for the game.
That being said, it seems for the time being mods are really going to carry this game for a while.
I do expect them to change the train cart limit soon, but it is realistic to the coaster this model is based on :)

If there is not any custom supports, maybe look at the shapes because you can make them bigger or smaller maybe that will work using the shapes?just an idea
I think they should be added soon and I'm happy to wait if they're going to be better ones than in PlanCo 1 :)
i love this kind of videos, building a coaster, or trying out stuff with the new coasters and yapping a bit. maybe these videos could be between videos of park projects. giving some thoughts on how the the coasters r designed the way they r. its a bit more variety for bigger projects for people who enjoy maybe this type of videos more.

At first, I thought you might just be set on imperial measurements. It says mph (miles per hour), not metres per second, which would explain why measurements were in ft/s as well. But then the tree brush and paint tool were set to metres...

In settings you can edit coaster friction and waterslide friction for all rides of their types
Yeah but it's for the whole game and not specific coaster models, strange decision but hopefully it gets resolved :)
I think you can change the coaster friction in the settings menu, just not per coaster.

Im pretty sure that I saw an other creator use costum supports
The game has log flume supports in current, just not coaster supports yet :)

Please can you do a tutorial for the tunnels underground on rollercoasters as that is something I struggled with on the last game
My best advice would be to look at reference photos of coasters that go underground, that should really help you understand how they work :)

Corvus, all coasters have always had breaks and drive tires in the sations XD The new ones for some reason only have breaks, that's the deal with them:p
They look a lot better than the PlanCo 1 versions tho, it's cool to see this extra detail :)
Is there an option for a stable camera with no anticipation in settings?
Not right now sadly. Really hope it'll be possible to either disable it in the game files or come with the first set of bug fixes after launch.

I've since found it in the game settings, and it changes the frinction for everything for some reason :)
I didn't know that there's now a snap to station building Mode! Before, you had to make a guess.

There are a few log flume supports but no coaster supports yet, I assume they will be added later :)
in the original game in order to change friction on coasters you first had to go into game settings and disable limits or something like that. maybe it's the same in this game?
You can only change the friction for all the coasters in the game in the settings not for specific coasters at the moment, which is a little annoying but well hopefully get resolved soon :)
Super excited for this game, but I will say I’m disappointed they didn’t upgrade the stations in any way. It’s also sad that the coaster doesn’t even line up with the gates for riders to enter. Hopefully if this game has a long lifetime like PC1 they’ll address it and fix it in the future!
I think station updates are coming soon! They announced yesterday that on-load and off-load is coming soon which is cool :)

I am pretty Sure i've seen this train in a short of Frontier with more than two Cars, maybe a bug?
Everyone can't change the car length currently, but hopefully this changes soon :)
I hope PlanCo2 includes different currencies! All same value of 1:1 is fine, of course.
It would be cool if PlanCo had it's own PlanCo currency:)

I hate building custom supports and i also hate the in game supports 😢 when everyone asked for water parks i kept asking for better supports but guess not much changed. . . .
Same issue. Straight ones are doable, also loop supports because art shapes. Curves and Inversions are really hard though.
I think the in-game supports do look better, but I always prefer custom supporting, makes your coasters look so better, hopefully these pieces will be added soon :)
@@CorvusCoasters I requested for coasters supports where we can choose the angle, which direction it leans because some supports on the suspended goings inward toward the track when the coaster swings to that direction...
Also if we can choose where the support goes because it disappears when we overlap tracks.
If we can change the shape to straight single support, A shape, H shape etc..for custom supports if it can snap to surrounding track or supports to make more realistic ones
i think the copperhead strike model on PC1 was a hopeful perspective where we can change some details on supports like we can do on catwalk directions or thicker spine

Not currently, I assume this will come with the Intamin blitz model :)
Me still not understanding why you can't just use slide supports for coasters:
They're not competely accurate and don't have proper track connector or flange pieces, hopefully proper coaster supports will be added soon :)
is there a way to have a schedule date such as a 10am open and a 8pm close etc. Just curious as i heard someone say it in a live stream

Please change this model! It’s so good! It has a lift hill and LSMs. So if you wanted to put Lech Coaster and Abyssus on the same park, THEY BOTH are gonna have short, jet fighter themed trains. That’s depressing.
Frontier did recently say that more blank trains were coming so hopefully that fixes this issue :)

I understand the limit since the irl top gun model (or whatever its called) only has two cars. Buuuuut that’s just silly to not allow a train switch or extension…
Yeah I understand it also, but it should just be an option instead of the only way we can use the model. Hopefully it will be fixed soon :)
did they just copy and paste the coaster sounds? I was hoping they'd have replaced the weird running sounds rip.
Thers are new sounds which are really nice! Some of them don't seem to be working at the moment though, I assume this will get patched soon :)
I can't wait to play it, but lord do I have some questions about the choices that were made in making this game. I can't help but feel its rushed and half baked. Its that or they're about to resell us all the features that made Planet Coaster so much fun to play with for close to a decade.
It doesn't feel ruished at the moment and they're patching stuff and adding more features soon as they detailed in a post about unthemed trains etc. Its going to be a really fun game on release :)
Tbh i don't think it's bad to have 2 cars it looks great just my opinion......but maybe 3 would be better lol i dunno hehe awesome coaster btw but i also hate the fact they look how they look you should have a default car on every track so that you can theme it yourself
They do need to change this, its realsitic to the type of layout yes but not to the ride model in general. More blank trains are on the way soon, they said in a recent update :)
Is there a way to make it so it’s not so snappy as all my rides go 45 degrees

With the non existing station reworks, I can not understand why we can not increase the car limit. This is very limiting in scenario play with minized profits. For sandbox it just limits creativity. I would have loved to make abyssus in PC2.
Still, I love how easy it is to finally make smooth coasters without spending hours.
I just don't think the feature has been added yet, they are patching the game soon to add more blank trains etc as they said recently which is great :)
@CorvusCoasters Hopefully longer trains, too. Two cars are just way too short. No capacity. Makes it bad IMO for scenario play. That's my main point. I don't care too much about blank trains (I still so a little bit though).
So I probably will use other coasters with better capacity trains to maximize profits.
The load/unload station will help a little bit.

There is a toggle for it in the settings but doesn't complete disable it unfortunately:)

Yes you can, but because the track was under this section the support won't generate:)

Dude this is absolutely ridiculous how many features are missing from PC1. Essentially EVERY feature they added and scenery piece added via DLC and updates is gone. No custom supports, billboards, music, no switch tracks but on 2 types of coaster, a worse UI, weird slides, the insanely less themes and scenery items. Rides as DLC. 2 steps forward and 3 steps back.
I can understand why most of PlanCo1s scenary pieces aren't here because it's a different game, plus all that DLC was added after launch, this game already has way more scenery at launch than planco 1 did. There are way more scenery items actually and the quality of them is amazing! The game is looking extremely promising imo, a few updates and DLCs to get some new gen coasters in and we will be set :)
Great coaster but these trains are horrible for future themeing, I really hope they give us the option for a more bland trains and higher number of cars in the future!
