In Metaphor you're hearing a fiddle or violin, not a harmonica. One of my favorite tracks on the album. I discovered this album back in 2004 so I've heard it many times, but it's cool to see someone discovering it for the first time. You can't go wrong with most In Flames albums. By the way, the full album reactions are awesome! There are thousands of reaction videos on RUclips, but not many who take the time to react to a full album. Like you said, the artist puts the album in a particular order for a certain artistic reason, it makes so much of a difference to hear the entire thing from beginning to end. Cheers dude!!
Nice to finally see part 2 of this album! :D Between full album videos and split album videos, I think I prefer the former: Don't have to wait for the next part, or being accidentally redirected to a completely different video at the end. I can take breaks whenever I want, but it's nice to get the full experience in one sitting. ;) This album is one of their best, IMO. I know a lot of the existing fans at the time disliked it, as it was a big step away from their established sound. But that'll always be the case. And if a band doesn't change their sound, there'll be a ton of fans that just gets bored hearing basically the same thing over and over. Personally, I think it's better to just let the creativity flow, and make new stuff. While all of these songs are great, and I'll listen to and enjoy every single one, Egonomic, Drifter, Dismiss the Cynics, and Transparent are comparatively lower tier for me. Several of my favourite In Flames songs are from this album. (Mind you, my list of "favourite In Flames songs" basically consists of half their catalogue...) As I think you'll probably go through their entire discography in time, I can't wait to see your reactions to Brush the Dust Away and The Chosen Pessimist. Hopefully someone requests them before I run out of Norwegian metal, because I've got a list to go through! xD PS: Fantastic PotC reference at the start there! xD PPS: Speaking of timestamps, maybe you were drunk when you added them, because you've put a space inside one of them so it doesn't work. ;)

I'm glad to see people reacting to this nowadays. In this album only "Minus" doesn't quiet do it for me. All the other songs blew my mind the first time I heard them and still blow my mind today.

what? minus is by far the best song of the album. it's more traditionally structured and less experimental than the other tracks.
