6:40 The range of that mine is insane. And you gotta remember that this thing could severely injure you over a hundred metres (if there was no cover or obstacles)...
@@graustreifbrombeerkralle1078 It was lethal to 20m, casualties to 100. American manuals warned it could reach up to about 450ft, which is about 140m. It was about the size of a large soup can, weighed 4kg (about 10lbs). It contained about as much explosive filler as an M67 'nade, which has a lethal/casualty radius of about 5/15m, but it was much more effective because of the bigger size (= more fragments), and mid-air detonation which meant much less obstruction to catch/slow fragments down.
Nice video :) Very patient on several occasions (eg beginning in which you took out the rally), so the payoff is even bigger. The truck at around the 9 min mark is not an MSP. It is the infantery logi truck ;) They built the FOB, which you took out, with its supplies. These trucks can easily be mistaken for the MSP. In order to identify them, check out the back and look for stached barrels. It is kind of hilarious that you received the classic AP-logi ending (too many TK...), but for the attempt to destroy a glorified transport truck :D
"Thank god! ... oh no, nevermind... " Funniest last words ever, Vade 😂 But how did you know you had tripped it? I re-watched it but didn't see it spring up (yet), although I think I heard the propellant go off just before you were -kicked- killed
That would definitely make Frontline game modes more interesting. Too often, they easily surround the point from all angles and what minefields would do is force players to have to actually gunfight their way towards the objective by eliminating the need for defenders to defend from so many attack vectors.
@@kingsleyzissou5881 Which, incidentally, is actually the purpose of defensive minefields IRL :) The Germans, in particular, actively used minefields as part of their defensive doctrine, not just as ad hoc opportunistic deployments.
Biggest problem I have with the game is how spawning is like ants coming out of the ground endlessly. It is just really unrealistic that a spawn point that's obviously been compromised by the enemy can still have players pop in out of literally nowhere. Takes me out of the game. And then it's really difficult to actually get rid of the spawn. At least rallies go red and become un-spawnable, I think, when you're near but the fact that FOBs are like impenetrable ant hills really needs to be fixed. Is it that you need more players near a FOB to stop the spawning?

I wonder if, as last resort, laying prone would help avoid/reduce damage from the mine? Not sure how the game mechanics are like for this
Snow without scope and with the enemies wearing non white uniform, Vade becoming Simo Hayha.
And just as good at CQB too, as that fight around the FOB showed. With a bolt action no less.
I knew something was going to go to shit at the end there lol.

According to American training manuals, up to 100 metres

I think you need to go prone completely and then start digging it down as soon as it's possible
ending is the biggest twist ever

Damn mines, but still you are living legend Vade 😉 monster game as always 💪🔥
Solides Ende!

If engineers could build full minefields I think that’d be neat
