    That "Songs Of Praise" line straight after the clip was pure comedy gold.
    So nostalgic for this show - 10 till midnight Mon - Thurs were great times in the early 90s.

    Not an easy watch. Confusing in places. But....a powerful, unsettling and brave movie.

    I found that one still image of a vandalised church to be absolutely horrifying. Quite surprised me how much it affected me.

    I honestly feel that to understand this film you have to have a connection to Catholicism. Kermode is a Baptist so his understanding of redemption is not the same as Ferrara does.

      That's a useless argument.
      You should be able to understand a film whoever you are.
      It's like when people said "The only reason you don't like Interstellar is becuse you are not a father".
      It's like.....urgh....
