All my childhood is coming back to me, this is practically the first magical girl series i ever watched, i was so awed by the animation and the story back then, and i used to draw Sakura a lot when i was in school, so seeing it back again made me so happy and emotional :,)

I didn't realize this was a new season/continuation, I thought it was a reboot. Interesting, but it's been so long I forgot how it even ended. Granted I only read the manga and watched parts of the dubbed version of the anime.
Of the top of my head, I think it got cancelled half way in a season and they had to tie it up in a movie.

I am also looking forward to hear the new opening by Maaya Sakamoto, especially since she was the same person who sang the third opening from the original anime, "Purachina" or "Platinum", which is my favorite anime song of all time.

i could be 60 and watch this just to cry again, ccs is so special.
The original first 3 seasons is on Netflix right now and I marathoned ALL of it plus the two movies. This anime holds up SO well and it made me cry like a kid again at some parts. This continuation also did it justice, it was SOOO well done and pays tribute to the original art style in a fresh take. Seriously I freaking love this series.

recommended cardcaptor sakura to my 10 year old niece, after finishing the series, she then googled for more and told me the existence of this series.
Can’t wait for 2nd season of Clear Cards. Hope they will announce it in 2019.

Kuribohchaos8 she was Sakura Avalon in the dub of the original series and the first film. But not the 2nd film, which upseted a lot of fans and Carly McKillip was also upset about not doing the 2nd film and she was under contract.
There are a lot of fans that want Sakura to be Sakura Avalon in the dub of the new series and her last words were "Maybe there is hope."

NegaLimbo I hope Sakura's new wand/rod takes a new form and has butterfly wings so that it resembles Yuuko's motif which is a butterfly, as opposed to Clown Reed's which are birds 😋

NegaLimbo Yuuko is one of the main characters from xxxholic, she was also in love with Clown Reed. His motifs are birds with white wings, while Yuuko's are butterflies usually black, Yue and Kero also have white wings, while Ruby Moon and Spinnel Sun had black butterfly wings.

vgman94 the shadow card just controls shadows. The mirror card could transform into Sakura so she could do her magic thing and have the Mirror card do her normal stuff. Can also deflect some clow cards powers.

This is my childhood rebooted. I have the Cardcaptor Sakura manga, I used to watch the anime when it was still on tv, and I even still have the Cardcaptor movie. Besides Studio Ghibli, this series was my introduction to anime and now my childhood is being rebooted o.o

I liked the Sakura Avalon version and I would rather see Sakura & Madison/Tomoyo together as a couple. I never liked Li. I know that they were 2nd cousins in the original version but in the Sakura Avalon version they weren't.

Why would they change the ward with the beak to this ward with the circle thing. I really want to see sakura hit the card with the beak in the air, it is the most memorial part of my childhood
WAsucksblackducks on the third arc the beak wand became a star and it spins when she releases a Clow card.
Spoilers if you havent read the manga or seen season 3 of the original anime:
Sakura's staff changed when she passed the final judgement and became the master of the cards. However, this new staff is the 3rd change after the cards turned clear.

I'm more prefer for original than english dub 😑 im more than enough to hear it in other language other than japanese audio... Ah... I have got an idea... Why don't all of u just being grateful on what u find whoever upload it on youtube. No matter it was in smaller screen, lowest resolution, eng sub or dub. Just watch if u want.
