Dampfmaschine/Steam engine: Wilesco D20 Dampfkessel blasen/ blow down boiler

Für mich eine gute Methode, Kessel halb oder ganz füllen, mit einer Mischung aus Kesselwasser und Zitronat.
Dampfmaschine anheizen bis das Sicherheitsventil öffnet, Feuer ausblasen.
Dann Ablassventil schnell öffnen und Wasser raus laufen lassen, natürlich sollte der Schlauch nicht wegfliegen!
Bei Dampfmaschinen ohne Ablassventil, Feuer ausblasen, Warten bis Druck weg, dann Sicherheitsventil raus
und Maschine über Kopf stellen und abtropfen lassen.
Es kommt schon einiges an Schmott raus und das Schauglas wird auch wieder sauber.
Am besten Dampfmaschine OHNE eingeschraubtes Sicherheitsventil lagern, das Sicherheitsventil an anderer Stelle
sicher lagern, kleine Dose und ähnliches. Die Restfeuchte geht dann aus dem Kessel heraus.
Den Kessel mit Essig u.ä auspülen und/oder über Nacht einweichen lassen, davon halte ich nichts, Essig ist zu
aggresiv für die kleinen Spielzeugkessel.
