I still have no idea what frontside and backside actually correlate to. Every time I think I understand it, someone names a trick that's backwards to what I thought.
@@ChristopherGoetting as you do the frontside you will be facing forword to the way your going when you rotate, when you do a backside your back will be turned to the way your going as you rotate, hope that help
Your wrong his stomach is following the board forward not his back
@@APPD4 how does this apply to various grinds? Because that's what I thought but then when it comes to a rail or ledge I can't follow the logic.

A tip that helped me was not thinking of it as stepping off since lifting your front foot messes up the timing and makes it awkward. It’s more sliding your front foot off the grip tape straight to the ground, or turning your front foot so it leaves the board a split second before popping which makes the timing easier

I love just doing a regular no comply with no spin there so fun, Did one over a fun box one time, it felt incredible!!!
I love just rolling fast, and planting a no spin no comply where the tails just drags with the board almost vertical while I hop back on.
I’ve had a lot of trouble dragging the board forward and not getting a satisfying pop turn. The simple fix was unexpected. Turning the front foot a full 180 when you put it on the ground forced me into the commitment and allowed me to turn the board more easily.
I would LOVE to see a video or competition series called ‘deepest bag of tricks’or something like that where all the Braille guys have to go through all the skateboarding tricks starting from the basics (all Ollie’s, all 180s, all shoves, all flip trips and so on) and they only get one attempt per trick (since I know they could do most of them if given multiple tries so this would also test their consistency) and the team member that can rack up the most tricks wins.
You guys did something similar on the Braille app but it would be nice to see an updated version of it.

I’ve done a few real high ones and the tail never tapped….. I didn’t click at first….. but it’s the most solid evidence I have found that we are living in a computer simulation. It’s a coding error…. Then I see @4:44 and I’m convinced 😄

The no comply 180 is not a trick to learn before 180 but it add the scoop that you do with your back foot… i do freaking cool front 180s now because of the no comply 180…

Fun fact. I actually learned no complies a lot better than an Ollie. I kinda stopped for a bit trying to ollie, because everytime i think i go it, i go into doing 3/4 of a heel flip... I'd rather no comply down a 5 stair.
