How I Cure Salmon Skein for Float Fishing

Now when you pull them from the freezer do you open the bag and let thaw so they don’t bust or what’s the process when taking out of freezer? Thank you

Once I take them out of the freezer and they thaw they will be totally fishable. I’ll take them out maybe 24/48hr before I plan on using them, I’ll set them out on paper towels to soak up any extra liquid and rebag and place in the fridge. They’ll last for a month

Do you lead them out of the fridge when you have them drying and set on the paper towels ??

I typically lay them out on paper towels and let them dry for 12 to 24 hours and then I put them in bags and freeze them
