We surprised this four year old kid and bought him a brand new Yamaha Raptor 90 (Yamaha YFM90r) ATV! The raptor 90 youth atv is much higher quality than a cheap Chinese quad or atv. Preciate this video and info. Was torn between which atv to get my son for Christmas. Leaned more toward the Raptor 90 but wanted to do some research first. So this video plus the others with your son riding and graduating taking the speed up helped. My son also love grave digger and has the mega grave digger RC. Too bad you guy are so far away. I think they’d get along great. 👍🏾

Do you remember how tall your kid was when you bought this? My son is turning 5 this year and I want to get this for him
How tall was your son whenever you first gave it to him? We are also concerned about buying a four wheeler that’s too big for our son. Thanks for feedback
I don't know exactly how tall he was, but he was tip toes on the footrests at the time of purchase (slightly small for it). I will say that the "limp mode" feature that the raptor has would allow a two year old to ride it no problem if they had the strength to turn it. At the end of the day, if he is remotely CLOSE to fitting, you'd be much better buying slightly larger than smaller. They grow quick and adapt quicker. You will be much more happy going this route than smaller no doubt. We have a lot of videos out on this atv if you look through our channel and it can give you a better idea of size!

How fast in mph? Also I’m interested in starting on atvs I’m a youth what are good raptors or Yamahas that are like 20-25 mph?
DigodyDog I did a full review on this ATV you’ll likely find really beneficial! Will max out about 30-31 MPH, but is very easy to limit throttle. Fantastic ATV all around. You’ll be very please!

DigodyDog it is. Closer to about $3,000 out the door without any dealer loyalty. Can probably get a decent price on a used one though!
Hey I see you know a lot about bikes I want to get the Yamaha raptor 90 but I wanted to ask you if you can make them go faster with any big bore kits or performance parts I want the bike to go like 40 or 50
