This song is my wife in every way. We have been married going on 17 years. Though we've had our problems in the past. I wouldn't trade that woman for anyone. She makes me a better man and has given me the 2 GREATEST gifts in the world my our kids. When I had a major surgery 3 years ago, she told me she played this song over and over because she knows it's one of my favorites.

I just wanna comment again and say how much of an underrated band this really is.. I have seen them 6 times on both coasts. They BRING IT and give 110 percent every time they're on that stage. They go out of their way to meet fans every show. One day they will be on TOP.

My friend died of cardiac arrest just a month ago he was only 21 and he gave this to song to my best friend..I help him pick out the ring and everything but now I guess I'll never see their wedding....I'll forever miss him...he was my brother
Adelitas Way is just one of those bands that knows how to write a PERFECT relationship song or just appeal to the senses with their music. Proud to be a fan of the Vegas rockers in their endeavours and still happy to be supporting them after all of these years. Truly hard-working individuals who are THE BEST at what they do.

Like many have said, this song is amazing. My (now) wife and i discovered it over a decade ago and dubbed it our song. I had the wine bar (location of first date) play it on the house system when i dropped to a knee to propose. And was the song we walked out to at our reception. Will always have a special place in our relationship.

My first time seeing the music clip. My ex boyfriend put this on his laptop 2009 /2010,had forgotten how to spell it lol, just found this. Adema I googled first, another good band he put on the laptop. Now I'm at my current ex boyfriends house. With my depression and anxiety issues, my husky is why I come here, I'm allowed to visit my dog. and love for both isn't easy.

Songs like these are why I listen to rock, rock lyrics actually mean something. Rap is all about self promotion putting down women and breaking the law (even though they never do it themselves) Country can have good lyrics but recent country music sucks it's becoming pop. Pop is pure crap enough said. R & B is OK as long as it's not brain-dead lyrics relying solely on beats.

Take a look where you're shitting and realize you're doing it on some pretty incredible people
Many artist miss the opportunity with this format by standing around in the video's entirety, but this song did music videos justice. I honestly wouldn't have enjoyed it as much with just the audio. Video made the band sound better, more sincere and honest in their effort as musicians.

Just saw these guys open for Skillet in Vancouver tonight. I didn't really know their music at all. This song stood out above all others in their set, so I had to look it up when I got home. Great song, great vid.

I have never even kissed a girl before. The loneliness can be unbearable. Feeling like no one will ever love you. And what's worse is women don't even care about lonely people. If they did care about lonely people then they wouldn't always go for those type of guys because those guys usually don't know what it is to be lonely.
I had this kind of love from my perspective. I lost it or had it taken from me, and maybe it was just an illusion. After 15 years of what I thought was the love of a lifetime, my wife left for her high school sweetheart. I can only hope that whatever she was looking for she found it. I've been devastated by the loss. I will never love again for I loved her with everything I had. If I give someone everything I could and it ended up being not enough.....why risk another devastating loss in this life. Don't know how I could survive this pain twice in a lifetime.......

I wish the memories linked to this song were positive ones. It’s bittersweet. I enjoyed every last second, remember every detail of every single bit of time I spent with her, but I won’t ever see her again. It’s a kind of sweet sort of reprieve. This was the song that me and her held so dear to us when she was still alive. We were sophomores in high school when I showed her this song. She instantly fell in love with it

First off, I love this song. I loved it ever since it played on Rock 106.1 in Savannah, GA. They followed me back on Twitter as well and Like/Favorite a lot of my Tweets. However, I also realize that they may have copied from O.A.R. "Shattered". That being said, I'm thinking of 2 scenarios:
1) They may not have purposely done so purposely. I'm a singer/song writer as well, and I sometimes am guilty of copying some parts of other songs. So, it may have been not intentional.
2) Some bands give others the ability to do so. Maybe O.A.R. let them to help both of them. This does sound like a more aggressive form of Shattered, though it's not aggressive in general.
With that being said, we shouldn't question bands. Putbull has CLEARLY done so, but I really like him and the old stuff. Just enjoy the music and then make your stupid comments:)
+TheSecretMan It's annoyingly common to write songs or licks that sound really similar to another band or artist and not realise you have done so until someone goes "Hey are you playing (Insert song here)" And you're just like (Who the heck is that?"Its happened with a couple of my own original content pieces and there's a guy in my class that has horrible luck with it.Literally he keeps writing things and showing us them and we're always like "Bad news I'm afraid." His most recent riff gives such an Iron maiden vibe its not even funny but the guy doesn't listen to Maiden and doesn't really like metal in general.So yeah, It annoys me when people accuse others of stealing riffs and stuff without proof when in truth it is really easy to write your own song and then realise someone else has done something similar. Funny tho, most pop hits currently are literally the exact same four chords and the same time signature and everything and no one bats an eyelid. Annoying how that works.

This is how I feel about my boyfriend. He always knows just what to say or do when I'm having a rough day. I've never smiled so much in my life. I could go on forever about how much he means to me, and how thankful I am to have him in my life. He treats me the way every girl should be treated. My only regret is not being with him sooner, because he truly is "the best thing in my life". I've never felt more alive.
