From how I also followed on to this topic, deeply rooting to his young beginnings, and with people around him, especially those who have knowledge about this and would come out in history as his greatest rivals in Philippine Political History. There's a great wall between the sides of this story, where the Filipino people being the middle who doesn't even know it is being manipulated to believe that Marcos got all this a ill-gotten wealth, while those who follow Ferdinand Marcos during his Presidency for 2 decades would have knowledge of how he made the Philippines great. And then there's the other sides of the story where other powerful groups in the world that wanted to take hold of this assets so they can control countries under their reign behind the scenes, and create a new world order once retained, same people who were responsible in successfully causing chaos in all parts of society affecting every country politically, economically, religiously, even to the very foundations of schools, worker unions, the church and religious sects, and barangay communities. It's all crazy, but in order to at least the a hold of understanding why the Marcos Gold exist, you'll have to look further in the History of the Philippines regarding Political Governance. Why? Because Marcos Gold wasn't called that way, until his Presidency.
In my belief, it does exist. Imelda Marcos, Ferdinand Marcos's Spouse, still has all the certificates of all accounts from 170 banks in the world, which was also partly shown on this video you saw, where Ferdinand Marcos lended gold to different Governments to help banks earn interest enough to help countries affected rise economically after WW2. Imelda even went out her way to run for president in 1998 in order to have Ferdinand Marcos' last will and Testament take effect regarding this Assets if she wins the presidency, but stopped because of threats of people against her Family. By checking the facts about when did Marcos got this amount of Gold, was before his presidency, meaning he legally had most of this gold during his time as a young lawyer and gold investor. In addition, the golds that were stolen by the Japanese from different nations in the East and South East Asia during the first half of the 1940s were buried in different places of the Philippines, and were not recovered when the Japanese were ultimately defeated in 1945 Allied Nations. As such things were happening fairly great for Marcos, it was also the time when everyone else who would have known about such wealth, thus, the rise of insurgents under the reason of rebellion, but was just ultimately about the control for everything, and putting themselves as leaders and taking all the riches to themselves.

Philippine history books were burnt and changed to hide/erase many historical details about what happened during this time, and those replaced all history books used in schools, it's where young minds would come to believe that Marcos stole a lot from the Philippines causing a lot of families to be/ stay in a poor state for years.
Yeah, it all of it seems politically motivated, of course, because most of those who were coming after the Marcos Gold and also has full control of the country, are mostly rich businessmen and top political figures of the country until today. Manipulation of the minds of the poor and lower-incomed families, students and influential groups such as the Church and showbiz personalities were the key to their success in power. It was this kind of influence that kept the whole country in-check from knowing or looking into their own motives, and erase evidences of their own plans and silence everyone who would betray them in telling the truth, Honestly, this is not uncommon among countries that time even before Internet was a thing. Greed for power, gold and Money ends in really ugly and dirty deeds. Filipinos have lived the last few decades in hardships of making ends meet and taking the short end of the sticks most of the time. But now that much of the current young gens have more outlets for information, as well as the boom of digital platforms for the past decade due to technology innovations, a lot of Filipinos now are more informed, and are much more aware of what had happened in the past, debunking and sorting false information from the real facts.
Anyway, about the Marcos Gold? no ordinary citizen would likely see it, maybe not even current President BongBong Marcos, Ferdinand Marcos' only son, would actually see it, nor even BongBong's sisters. The only people I would believe had seen it is Imelda Marcos ( who also promised to return around 7,000 tons of Gold under their Family's custody, which is not part of the said Marcos Gold in 170 banks ), and the board of Trustees Ferdinand Marcos assigned to take care of his assets all this time. But here's the thing: it was said before that the Philippines has been, and actually is, sitting in riches all this time, but is still not yet been totally explored too much~~~Gold, Oil, Deuterium(G.O.D) There were still a lot of Gold ores not mined in different parts of the country until the present, such is the same for Oil (only 3 or 4 oil rigs currently supplying the country's energy need , while several more now on the works, approved by the current President ),and Natural Gas deposits and Deuterium. The plan was supposed to be set for the future of Filipino families 30+ years ago, sadly were we were all lost and manipulated. I believe The Gold assets are true, and Ferdinand Marcos' Last will and Testament is slowly being fulfilled. Now that BongBong Marcos is the President, he is continuing legacy projects from his Father's administrations, as well the ones started by Former President Duterte, and some viable, still unfinished projects from other past admins, and of course his own projects in all sectors, especially those that have been repeatedly ignored, abandoned, corrupted and/ or underfunded for decades. Based from the trajectory of his Administrations, he seems really confident in elevating the Progress of the country in record time without the worry of over-spending ( possibly it's because he now has access to the compounded interests of the Marcos gold from those 170 banks, and he had mentioned in his recent speeches about the Maharlika Wealth Fund, aka the Sovereign Investment Fund, that once this is implemented, the Philippines will no longer have to loan for money to fund projects that benefit the Philippines economy and Sovereign/Territorial Protection~~~and I don't believe the money used for this fund would come from anyone else's pocket except from the Marcoses ) coincidence? Unlikely. The promise of having another Marcos as President is fulfilled, Now? we'll have to see what happens next for the Philippines and it's people in the next few years if such wealth would greatly impact us in every way, or not.
